Museum holds open house

The Wilson County Museum will hold its annual open house Sunday.

“It’ll just be an enjoyable afternoon to have some refreshments and walk through and see what we have,” said Mildren Manning with the History Associates of Wilson County.

The museum is in The Fessendon House, a 19th Century home on West Main Street that once served as a school for girls. The home was recently restored and furnished.

The open house will be from 2-4 p.m. at 236 West Main St. Admission is $10.
