Mrs. Andrews, 91, of the Shop Springs community, died Friday morning at The Pavilion Health Care Center in Lebanon. Daughter of the late Seldon and Lector Blythe McDowell, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Andrews; her sister, Edith Andrews and a nephew, Kevin Wynne.
Vallie is survived by her daughter, Janice Wilkerson and her husband, Pete of Lebanon; grandson, Curt (Leslie) Wilkerson of Dowelltown; great-grandchildren, Savannah Mae Wilkerson and Sirus James Wilson; sister, Ruth (Leslie) Wynne of Winston-Salem, N.C.; niece, Lee Ann Boston of Hendersonville; nephew Phil (Jane) Wynne of Winston-Salem; great-nephews, Greg Wynne and Jeremy Ledford.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Gideons. Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Edward Dale Baine
Funeral services for Mr. Baine will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Lawson and Bro. Bill Fowler officiating. Interment will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Baine, 58, of the Bellwood community, died Friday afternoon, Dec. 7, 2012 at University Medical Center in Lebanon. He was the son of the late Edward Baine and Mary Curtis Baine Cason and was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Enoch. Dale is survived by his wife, Georgia Bass Baine of Lebanon; children, Scotty (Hollie) Baine of Grant, Lakisha, Kendra and Jayde Baine all of Lebanon; grandchildren, Diana, Briana, Emily, Hunter, Sarah and Scotty Baine, Jr. and Grace Hatcher; sister, Betty (John) Tramel; brother, Jimmy Dale Baine; stepmother, Ruth Bennett of Lebanon.
Active pallbearers will be co-workers at the Wilson County Road Commission and honorary pallbearers will be Odell Eldridge and Charles Kirkendoll.
Larry "L.D." Bell
Visitation for Mr. Bell will be Tuesday, Dec. 11 from 11-11:55 a.m. with services to follow at noon at J.C. Hellum Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Dowell Cemetery in Alexandria.
Mr. Bell, 74, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at Quality Health Care in Lebanon.
Survivors include devoted daughter, Denisa "Nicki" Eddings, sons, Larry D. Eddings and Brad Eugene Bell; one brother, Harold Manning; two devoted step-daughters Krisseda Eddings and Vivian Seay; devoted friends John Blackwell and Joyce Weir; and a myriad of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Henry Allen Cooksey
Funeral services for Mr. Cooksey will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. James Earl Petty officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m. till service time on Tuesday. Interment will be at Jennings Cemetery in Statesville.
Mr. Cooksey, 39, formerly of Watertown, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 4, 2012 in Leesburg, Fla.
Henry is survived by children, Kaytlin and Jacob Cooksey and their mother, Sara all of Lawrenceburg and Dylan and Mirah Cooksey of South Carolina; his mother, Dolly Cooksey of Leesburg, Fla.; brother, Bobby (Angie) Cooksey of Norene; sisters, Kaye (Tink) Ogle of Calhoun, Tenn., Delia Grubb of Ocala, Fla., Kathy Linder of Smithville and Betty Jo (Steve) Chappell of Watertown; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father William Howard Cooksey.
Allene Ruth Croy
Funeral Services for Mrs. Croy will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until services. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Croy, 90, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 in Nashville. Mrs. Croy graduated from Cumberland College, was a member of the Garden Club, a volunteer at the Red Cross and the literacy program, was a homemaker, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Robert Lee and Mable Smith; husband, Chester Allen Croy Jr.; sister Jeraline Nall; and brother, William R Smith.
She is survived by sons, Robert A. (Tina) Croy of Manchester and James A. (Camille) Croy of Nashville; daughter Cathy Croy of N.C.; grandchildren, Nathan (Dana) Croy, Lindsey (Matthew) Dyer, Cameron and Carson Croy, Rachael Huddleston (Saji) Prelis, and Anna (John) Totten; great-grandchildren, Noah and Arwyn Croy.
Judy Davis Ferrell
Visitation for Mrs. Ferrell was held on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 3-6 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Graveside services took place on Monday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. in the Barton’s Creek Cemetery. Her cousins, Tony Shelton and John Wesley Davis officiated the services.
Mrs. Ferrell, 71, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Ferrell was a member of the Baptist faith, a long time volunteer for Carroll Oakland School, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, James Howard Davis; husband, Vernon Thomas Ferrell Sr.; brother, Jimmy Davis.
She is survived by her mother, Kathleen Davis; children, Cathy (Ronnie) Frederick, Randy (Barbara) Leeman,1st Sergeant USAF Tommy (Muzzy) Ferrell, Amanda (Chip) Wilson, Avonda (Chris) Williams; brothers, Charles (Helen) Oldham and Jimmy Oldham; sisters, Betty Ann (Don) McDonald, Patsy Poole, Jackie (Jesse) Gleaves and Dorothy Davis; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were Mike Davis, Ken Davis, Danny McDonald, Wally Sellars, Chris Williams and Chip Wilson.
James Winfred Ferrell
The family of Mr. Ferrell will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) on Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until noon. The funeral service, conducted by Brother Michael Wyatt, is Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at noon. Interment will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jason, Dywayne and Carlton Ferrell, Randall Riggins, Larry Walker, Jerry Cherry, Craig Giampa and John Perry. James Ferrell passed away on December 9, 2012 at age 66.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Neva June Ferrell; children, Dywayne Ferrell and Jason (Taunya) Ferrell; siblings, Joveas “Joe” (Jean) Ferrell, Dallas (Helen) Ferrell, Tony Ferrell and Mildred Hughes; sister-in-law, Margaret Ferrell; grandchildren, Craig (Specialist Megan) Giampa and Trisha Giampa; great-grandchild, Arabella Giampa; numerous nieces and nephews; and pets, Hot Rod, Stasia, Bossy, Daisy and Partner.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Gertie Hughes Ferrell; brothers, Carlton Ferrell and Bud Ferrell, Sam and Fisher Murphy, and sister Joy Ferrell.

Allie Adams Malone

Mrs. Malone, 87, of Watertown, died Sunday morning, Dec. 9, 2012 at University Medical Center in Lebanon. Born in Houston County, she was the daughter of the late Emery and Lola Breeden Adams. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 45 years, Joe Henry Malone; sister, Irene Adams Proctor; and brothers, Joe, Bert and Ewing Adams.
She was a member of the Watertown First Baptist Church and Fidelis Sunday School Class, a graduate of Austin Peay State University and Middle Tennessee State University. She was an educator for over 40 years and a member of the Retired Teachers Association and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Allie is survived by sons, Joe E. (Selena) Malone of Knoxville and Lynn W. Malone of Watertown; sister, Imogene Rye of Clarksville; grandchildren, Joseph L. Malone of Winter Haven, Fla., Lisa J. (Joshua Halbert) Malone of Lebanon and Zachary (Teila) Balthrop of Hoschton, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Vincent Joseph Malone and Allie Lynn Malone; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Active pallbearers will be family and friends; honorary pallbearers, Terry Ashe and the Watertown Senior Citizens.

Terry E. Nunley
Visitation for Mr. Nunley will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 12 from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Dr. Jonathan Richerson will officiate the service. Interment will be in Conatser Cemetery.
Mr. Nunley, 57, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 in the University Medical Center. Mr. Nunley was a member of the Baptist faith and employed in purchasing for Tennessee Sheet Metal.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Nunley. He is survived by his wife, Crysty Cross Nunley; mother, Mamie Campbell Nunley; sons, Timothy Nunley and Tracy Nunley; brothers, Kenny (Donna) Nunley and Donnie (Lori) Nunley; grandchildren, McKenzie Carlton and Kerrigan Beale.

Hugh Harold “Pa” Summar
A Celebration of Life will be held for Hugh Harold “Pa” Summar of Gladeville on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at noon at Gladeville United Methodist Church with visitation prior to the service from 10 a.m. until services are held. Burial will follow the services at Milton Cemetery in Milton, Tenn.
Hugh was born Nov. 13, 1929, in Old Hickory, and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Dec. 8, 2012. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Martha Adkerson Summar. They were married October 30, 1948. Hugh was also preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Lindsay and Lucy Francis Summar, grandson, Samuel Ryan Summar and great-granddaughter, Summar Jean Swain.
Hugh is survived by his daughter, Judy Summar Swain (James Edwin) of Gladeville, Gerald Thomas Summar (Janice) of Mt. Juliet and Larry Hugh Summar (Denise) of Carthage, nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. He was a graduate of Smyrna High School Class of 1948, served in the United States Air Force, retired from Ford Glass Plant and was a member of Gladeville United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law: Jason Swain, Drew Hendry (Kelli), Michael Summar, Kevin Summar, Andy Summar, Zach Summar, Dale Francis (Hilary), Jake Pyburn, Travis Humes (Paige), and nephews, Steve Estep, and Robby Summar. Honorary pallbearers are Winners Sunday School Class, and his special neighbors, Jimmie and Anna Pittman and Mrs. Carroll Lannom.

Kenneth Lewis Turner
Kenny left this earth to meet his Lord and Savior and loved ones that have gone on before on Dec. 7, 2012 at age 51. The Graveside Service, conducted by Brother Tommy Dye, is 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 in Bascom Cemetery, McMinnville, Tenn.
He is survived by daughter Rebecca Lauren Turner. He is preceded in death by parents, Jessie Thomas and Lena Marie McClain Turner.

Mrs. Fenton, 84, of Hendersonville, died Dec. 8, 2012.
Services will be Tuesday, Dec. 11 at noon at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment will be in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Ms. Krueger, 87, of Mt. Juliet, died Saturday at her residence.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec 22 a St. Stephen Catholic Community. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the church.
