Dorothy Ann Fisher
Funeral services for Mrs. Fisher will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation on Friday, Jan. 18 from 4-8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service. Rev. Jeffery Reynolds will officiate and interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Fisher, 81, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at University Medical Center. Mrs. Fisher was a member of Tuckers Crossroads United Methodist Church and retired from University Medical Center with 15 years of service.
She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Lillie Harris; husband, Howard Nelson Fisher; three sisters; one brother; granddaughter, Melisa Fisher and great-grandson, Cody Choate.
She is survived by sister, Sybil Jones; children, Howard Clayton Fisher, Charlotte Lynn Fisher, Susan Annette Choate and Nathan Wayne Fisher; grandchildren, Angel (Mickey) Babcock, Tara (Nicholas) Filkins and Ivan Harris Fisher; great-grandchildren, Troy Buckland, Whitney Buckland and Chloe Filkins; great-great-grandchild, Zaylee Buckland.
Pallbearers will be Howard Clayton Fisher, Nathan Wayne Fisher, Ivan Harris Fisher, Troy Buckland, Mickey Babcock and Nicholas Filkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carl Jones and Ronnie Pulley.
David Smith Harvey
Graveside services for Mr. Harvey will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 at Jennings Cemetery in Statesville with the Rev. Kevin Medlin officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. till 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hunter Funeral Home.
Mr. Harvey, 68, of Lebanon, died Wednesday morning, Jan. 16, 2013 at University Medical Center in Lebanon. Son of the late Carl and Pauline Smith Harvey, Sr. he was preceded in death by a daughter, Hope M. Harvey Gray and brothers, Forrest, Howell and Carl Harvey, Jr. David was a 1962 graduate of Watertown High School and was a member of the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was a long time car salesman and operated David Harvey Auto Sales.
David is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joanne Clemmons Harvey; daughter, Faithe S. Sass; sons, Russell S. Harvey and David Gregory Harvey and his wife, Lori, all of Lebanon; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church 522 Castle Heights Avenue Lebanon, TN 37087.
Raymond Hamblen Hibler
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Hibler will be Saturday, Jan. 19 at Mt. Juliet Church of Christ, 1940 N. Mt. Juliet Rd. at 11:00 am. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.
Mr. Hibler, 57, died Jan. 14, 2013 at Alice Hospice of Leukemia. He fought a 10 month battle with dignity and courage, never complaining. He was born in Donelson, Tenn. on Jan. 29, 1955. He loved the outdoors and watching football.
He was predeceased by parents, Jane Hamblen Hibler and Thomas Hibler and brother, Dr. Tom Hibler.
He is survived by sister, Jennie Hibler of Mt. Juliet; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and John Kneisel; and nephew, John L. Kneisel, all of Watertown; and pets Linus and Lucy.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Juliet Animal Shelter or Alive Hospice.
Joe Neal Tomlinson
Funeral services for Mr. Tomlinson will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation on Friday, Jan. 18 from 4-8 p.m. and again on Saturday from noon until the service.
Mr. Tomlinson, 67, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at The Pavilion. Mr. Tomlinson was a 1964 graduate of Lebanon High School and a retired truck driver with Yellow Freight Trucking Company.
He was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Flora Tomlinson and sister, Agnes Blanks.
He is survived by sons, Tim Thorne and Michael (Renee) Thorne; brother, Herman (Nancy) Tomlinson; sister, Ruby (Ernest) Sneed; grandchildren, Clayton Thorne and Easton Thorne.
Family and friends to serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Tomlinson’s co-workers at Yellow Freight Trucking Company.
Jimmy R. Whited
Visitation for Mr. Whited will be held on Thursday, Jan. 17 from 4-8 p.m. and Friday Jan. 18 from noon until funeral services at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Bro. Joe Johnson and Sheriff Terry Ashe will officiate the services.
Mr. Whited, 66, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at University Medical Center. Mr. Whited was a member of the Church of Christ and a retired sergeant serving 32 years with the Wilson Co. Sheriff’s Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Keen and Gladys Mae Wilkerson Whited; brothers, Ed Whited and Bobby Whited; sisters, Judy Carver and Irene Whited.
He is survived by wife of 45 years, Margie Whited; son, James (Kathy) Whited; daughter, Dana (Chris) Ross; grandchildren, Paige Whited, Cody Ross and Miranda Ross; brothers, Tommy (Audrey) Whited, Gene Whited, Paul (Charlene) Whited and H.D. Whited.
Active pallbearers will be his nephews. Honorary pallbearers, Mr. Whited’s brothers, employees and staff of the Wilson County Sheriff’s Department, Elmer Miley, Sheriff Terry Ashe, Joe Caldwell and Joe Pugh.
