Danny Ray Dedmon

Mr. Dedmon, 52, of Lebanon, died Wednesday.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery at Brush Creek. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday from noon until at the funeral home.

Sherry Jean Ashworth-Hankins

Ms. Ashworth-Hankins, 57, died Jan. 19, 2012. She was cremated.

She was preceded in death by mother, Maude Ashworth; father, William (Bill) Ashworth; brother, Donald Ray Ashworth; sisters, Maxine Palenki, Billie Earl Brewington; uncle, Gene (Pinto) Ashworth; and aunt, Earlene Watson of Nashville; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; special devoted friend, JoAnne.

She is survived by James Earl Ashworth, John (Sammy) Ashworth, of Nashville, Terry Stone, Twyla (Stone) Martin, Kathy Counts and Lynn Ashworth.

Martha Floy Mabry

Mrs. Mabry, 90, of Mt. Juliet, died Wednesday.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 3:30-8 p.m. and Saturday from 9-10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Cindy Stypula

Funeral services for Mrs. Stypula will be held Saturday, Jan. 26 at 11 a.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Father Michael O’Bryan officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m.

Mrs. Stypula, 62, passed away Jan. 22, 2013 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.

She was born in Elizabeth, N.J., the daughter of the late Stephen Krysiak and Bessie Bielski Krysiak. She worked for the Lebanon Special School District as an Educational Assistant.

She was preceded in death by sister, Geraldine Furlong; brother, Stephen Krysiak. She is survived by her husband of forty-years, John R. Stypula; two children, Amanda and Jonathan Stypula; granddaughter, Tessia Stypula; niece, Andrea Foti; nephew, Christopher Furlong.

Louise Vandergriff

Funeral services for Mrs. Vandergriff will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodger McCann officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. till service time on Saturday. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Liberty.

Mrs. Vandergriff, 91, of Watertown, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013. Born in Dekalb County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Robert Ellis and Annie Myrtle Yates Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Vandergriff on Apr. 27, 2012 and by her brothers, Glen and J.C. Ellis. Louise was a member of the Watertown First United Methodist Church and retired after 30 years from Alexandria Workwear.

She is survived by a niece, Betty (Gary) Mullican of Lebanon; nephew, Gene Vandergriff of Nashville; great-nephew, Donald (Cynthia) Mullican of Lebanon; two great-great-nephews, Jonathan and Matthew Mullican; sisters-in-law, Effie Lee Ellis of Smithville and Flora Ellis of Murfreesboro; special friends and caregivers, Linda Stephens, Lisa Williamson and Judy Davis.

Melba Coles Williams

Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held Saturday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Carl Price. Interment will be in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday after 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Williams, 91, of the Leeville community, went to be with her Lord Jan. 22, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late James Tolliver Coles and Ethel Mae Sullivan Coles. She was a longtime, active member of the LaGuardo Baptist Church and the Leeville Home Demonstration Club. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, J.D. Williams; brother, Grady Benton Coles; sister, Irma Jackson.

She is survived by son, James Rhea Williams; daughter, Minerva Sue Williams both of Lebanon; grandson, James David Williams of San Jose, Calif.; granddaughter, Crystal Williams of Lebanon. During the final years of her life, she was lovingly cared for by Pat Woody and Shirley Agee.

Pallbearers will be Royce Jackson, Philip Tatum, Teddy Stewart, Chad Mitchell, Scott Mitchell, Luke Stewart.
