Flora Bradford

Mrs. Bradford, 97, of Hermitage, died Sunday.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment will be in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service.

Mary Christine Gammons Siegrist Brummett

Visitation for Mrs. Brummett will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 8 from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 9 from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Melvin Sloan will officiate the service.

Mrs. Brummett, 85, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 in the Summit Medical Center. She was a member of Harsh Chapel Baptist Church and worked as a payroll clerk for May Hoisery Mill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Britton Landeth and Mary Elizabeth Piper Gammons; husbands, Fred M. Siegrist and Jesse F. Brummett; son, Fred M. Siegrist; four sisters; a brother; a great-granddaughter; and a great-grandson.

She is survived by son, David Matthew Siegrist; daughter, Beverly Ann Jackson Marsh; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Active pallbearers will be Grant Jackson, Wayne Siegrist, Leonard Siegrist, Scott Siegrist, Darren Jackson, Kerry M. Siegrist, David L. Siegrist and Barry D. Corley. Honorary pallbearers will be Christy M. Jackson Corley and Erin A. Siegrist Goodwin.

Owen K. Cartwright
A Memorial Service for Mr. Cartwright will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 in the Mount Olivet Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Cartwright, 67, of Mt. Juliet, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013. Mr. Cartwright was a former 3rd Degree Mason and a 23 year photographer for the Nashville Banner and retired from Thomas and Betts Corporation.
He is survived by wife, Patricia Cartwright; daughters, Kelley Firestone (Roger), and Jamie Jones; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Gary Clemons
No services are scheduled for Mr. Clemons at this time.
Mr. Clemons passed away on Jan. 6, 2013 at age 63.
Survivors include wife of 36 years, Linda Byars Clemons; daughter, Fyia (Henry) Smith; special family member Dusty Kingsland; brother, Wayne Chapman; sister-in law, Elaine (Billy) Bogle; grandchildren, Henry Joe (Tina) Smith, Gary Evans Smith, Michael Noel Smith, Leann Estelle Smith, Avery Joanna Smith, Zachary Lucas Storm Smith, and Kendra Lamberson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by daughter, Leann Clemons; parents, Bill and Mattie Wells Chapman; sister, Lorie Sloan; and brother, Jim Clemons.
Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.

Charles Thomas “Tommy” Hayes

Funeral services for Mr. Hayes will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 at Bond Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dallas Upchurch and the Rev. Michael Reese officiating. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Bond Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Hayes, 71, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013. Tommy was the son of the late John Hayes and Louise Burnette. He was the owner of Tommy Hayes Cabinet Company. Tommy was also preceded in death by his son, Tony Hayes and his sisters, Lily Jane Moore, Barbara Ann McDowell and Eleanor Sue Burdette.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jo Ellen Snell Hayes; children, Lee Ann Hayes Brown and Chuck (Theresa) Hayes; daughter-in-law, Jennifer E. Hayes; son-in-law, Rocky Lassiter; siblings, John Louis (Snookey) Hayes, Robert Hayes, Ronald Hayes, Mary Carolyn Stiles, Evelyn (Ed) Ashley, Shirley (Henry) Gzikowski and Dorothy (Don) McNeil; grandchildren, Ross (Sherry Jackson) Lassiter, Crystal Lee Brown, Christy Hayes (Jerame) Dolce, Austin Lee Hayes, Kaylin E. Hayes, Jesse R. Hayes, and Samantha Jo Hayes; and great-grandsons, Tyler Cade Lassiter and Cooper Chase Dolce.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to the family.

Clayton Smith Lane

Funeral services for Mr. Lane will be held Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Cathey officiating. Interment will be in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m.–1 p.m.

Mr. Lane, 87, of Lebanon, passed away Jan. 6, 2013 at University Medical Center. Born in Wilson County, he was the son of the late Hatton and Nellie Gray Lane. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII serving aboard the USS St. Louis. He retired from the Lebanon Woolen Mills and was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Helen Bradshaw Lane; sister, Lorene King; brother, Henry Odell Lane. He is survived by: brother-in-law, Boyd King; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Andy Louis Smith

Mr. Smith, 58, of Mt. Juliet, died Thursday.

Services will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday from 9-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
