Betty Oliver Clayborne
Funeral services for Ms. Clayborne are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Chaplain Mark Russell officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 1-8 p.m. and Wednesday after 10 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.
Ms. Clayborne, age 81, of Greenbrier, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at her son’s home.
Born Feb. 17, 1931, in Genoa, Neb., she is the daughter of the late Marcus B. and Ethel Frankie Hardcastle Oliver. She was a Baptist and had worked in restaurants. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Jean Rossie and Margie Faye Oliver; and seven brothers, Melvin Junior, Clayton, John Frank, Elbert B., Elgin, Raymond, and James Albert Oliver.
She is survived by six children, Pamela Diane McQuarrie, of Florida, Patricia Lynn Copeland, of Nashville, Mark David Clayborne, of Greenbrier, Michelle Teresa Welsch of Nashville, Timothy Frank Clayborne, of Greenbrier, Michael Keith Clayborne, of Millersville; step son, Billy Andrew Clayborne, of Lebanon; two sisters, Lorene Alsup, of Florida; Wanda Nell Whaley, of Lewisburg; brother, Kenneth Odell Oliver, of Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Ligon & Bobo Funeral of Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
Ruby Cleo Baker
Mrs. Baker, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 in the Skyline Medical Center.
Services for Mrs. Baker will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Partlow Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
William Glenn Barker
Mr. Barker, 79, of Nashville, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012.
Graveside services with military honors for Mr. Barker will be 1 p.m. Friday at Nashville National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Bond Memorial Chapel.
