Roberta Lee Griffin
Funeral services will be Monday at noon at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Ms. Griffin, 87, widow of Jay C. Griffin, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at her residence. Born in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Lena Brink. She was retired from the Bluegrass Army Depot. Survivors are five children, Ella Jean (John) Martin, Garrard Co., Eric (Debby) Griffin, Rinda Griffin and Elizabeth Griffin, all of Lexington, and Kevin (Erika) Griffin, Lebanon; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Betty Sue Dodson Grimes
Mrs. Grimes, 84, of Lebanon, passed away on Nov. 10, 2012 at Shannondale Health Care Center in Knoxville, Tenn. after suffering from Alzheimer's. Betty was born in Nashville, Tenn. and lived most of her life in Lebanon, Tenn. She was an employee of People's bank and an active member of Westland United Methodist Church. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel R. and Beulah Dodson; husband, Mumford Lewis Grimes Jr.; and brother, Rev. Samuel R. Dodson Jr.
She is survived by her three children and their families: son, David Grimes and family Takako Grimes, Matthew Grimes, Betsy Taylor, and great-grandson Taylor; daughter, Debbie Hoskins and family Dr. John C. Hoskins, Jenny and Jonathan Gilliam, and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Hunter, and Ellie; daughter, Laura Henderlight and family David Henderlight and Kailee; and dearest friend, Sarah Eatherly.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Shannondale Health Care Center for their incredible loving care and support of Betty during these last five years. An extra special thanks to Jill, Rae, Shawn, Ashton, Derrick, Wanda, Eva, Elizabeth, Mary, Nikki, Lonnie, Monica and Lisa.
A private graveside service was held at Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbia, Tenn.

Mr. Massingale, 81, of Antioch, passed away Nov. 13, 2012 in Antioch.
He was survived by his extended family, dedicated caretakers and nursing staff of the Guardian Community Living Home. Also his church family, Garden of Prayer Tabernacle, devoted friend Henrietta Blair; and many other friends.
Mr. Wright, 78, of Cookeville, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Services for Mr. Wright will be held Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. at Howard Chapel AME Church in Hartsville. Interment will follow in Beech Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 5-8 p.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home and Saturday from noon until service time at the church.
