William 'Bill' Lewis Bell Jr.

Services for Mr. Bell will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Dr. Larry Locke officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 and 10 a.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Bell, 78, of Lebanon, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 at Glen Oaks Health & Retirement Center. Mr. Bell was a graduate of Castle Heights Military Academy. He attended Vanderbilt University and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. Upon graduation he was a chemist for Seagram’s Distillery in Louisville. In 1959 he returned to Lebanon to become partner and later owner of Bell Oil Company.

He began Git-N- Go Markets Inc. in the early 70s and was responsible for bringing Krystal Drive-Thru to Lebanon and Springfield. In the 80s he was an appointed member of the Private Industry Council by Gov. Lamar Alexander whose campaign for Governor Bill successfully launched from Wilson County. Upon retirement, he obtained his Realtors license and was associated with Agee & Johnson Realty.

He was a member of Wilson County Association of Realtors where he was awarded the Silver Award of Excellence for three years. He was a member of Lebanon Jaycees, past president of Lebanon Golf & Country Club where he was an avid golfer, past President of Wilson County Chamber of Commerce, member of Lebanon Kiwanis Club, and a member of the Community Bible Class at College Hills Church of Christ where he was a member for over 50 years.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Lewis and Eleanor Bell; daughter, Julia Margaret Bell; brother, State Rep. Joe Bell; and sister, Lynda Bell Harlan.

Survivors include: wife of 57 years, Barbara Long Bell; children, Becky (Tim) Burroughs and William (Joy) Bell III; grandchildren, Kate (Michael) Rector, Margaret Ellen Burroughs, William Robert Bell and Matthew Morgan Bell.

Pallbearers will be Rob, Matthew and Jody Bell, Michael Rector, Lee Harlan, Jerry Ward, David Bryant and Joe and Larry Long. Honorary pallbearers will be Realtors at Agee & Johnson Realty, members of the Community Bible Class and Jim Andrews Life Group of College Hills Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or charity of choice.

Lillie Francina Deakins

No services are scheduled for Mrs. Deakins at this time.

Mrs. Deakins, 51, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012.

She was preceded in death by: parents, James Edward and Francina Gallahan.

Survivors include: husband of 25 years, Kenneth Best; children, Jason (Amanda) and Ricky (Courtney) Deakins, Christina (James) Gallahan and Ernest (Sandi) Chase; and grandchildren, Kayleigh and Jordan Deakins, Nathan and Sophie Deakins, Joshua Gallahan, Patricia Moore and Devan and Miles Chase.

Johnny Gordon Durham

Services for Mr. Durham will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Durham, 66, died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Gordon and Nellie Baggett Durham; sister, June Vinson; and granddaughter, Tamara Ashley Mai Durham.

Survivors include: wife of 38 years, Joyce Bohannon Durham; children, Christy (Ricky) Baxter, Shawn (Juevona) Durham and Brian (Shannon) Durham; sister, Ruth (Robert “Bob”) Goodwin; grandchildren, Matthew, Chasitie, Brittney, Courtney, Devion, Dylan, and Daisy Durham; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Eddie William 'Bubba' Sisco

Services for Mr. Sisco will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown conducted by Bro. Jeff Oliver. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 and 10 a.m. on Thursday unti the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Sisco, 52, of Lebanon, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 at University Medical Center. He was born in July of 1959 in Trousdale County to the late William Marion Sisco and Laura Beal Sisco. He was a mechanic by trade.

He was preceded in death by: parents; sister, Anise Daniels; and brother, Jimmy Dean Sisco.

Survivors include: daughter, Twila Sisco of Lawrenceburg; son, Josh Sisco; grandchildren, Jerieka, Malik and Jaiden Sisco; brother, Johnny Sisco of Lebanon; sisters, Mary 'Kat' Pinkerton and Diane (Ray) Enoch, both of Lebanon; and nieces and nephews.

Dorothy Rose Evans Taylor

Services for Mrs. Taylor will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 at Church Aflame in Demopolis, Ala. with  Revs. Mickey Green, Drew Dockery and Jeff Taylor officiating and Kirk Funeral Home Demopolis Chapel directing. Interment will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Taylor, 69, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 at her home. She was born in April of 1942 in Vicksburg, Mich. to the late Paul Stanley and Daisy Huntington Evans.

She was preceded in death by: parents; and brother, Dewey Evans.

Survivors are: husband, Nathan Stewart Taylor of Linden, Ala.; sons, Jeff (Terri) Taylor of Demopolis, Todd Taylor of Nashville and Brad Taylor of Linden, Ala.; grandchildren, Jay (Rebecca) Taylor of Calera, Ala, Tracy Taylor of Northport, Ala. and Chad (Lauren) Taylor of Demopolis; great-grandchildren, Eva Michael Taylor of Demopolis and Elliot Grace Taylor of Calera.

Pallbearers will be Tom Taylor, Jeff Taylor, Todd Taylor, Brad Taylor, Jay Taylor and Chad Taylor. Honorary Pallbearers will be from Comfort Care Hospice.

Gladys Hardaway Webb

Services for Mrs. Webb will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Freeman and Rev. Don McElroy conducting the service. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1 and 1 p.m. on Thursday prior to the service.

Mrs. Webb, 93, died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 at University Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lebanon and owner of Gladys' Beauty Salon for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Royden and Lorena Taylor Hardaway; brothers, R.E. Hardaway and Andrew Hardaway; sister, Elizabeth Tucker.

Survivors include: nieces, Betty (Jimmy) Griffin, Mary and Kathy Hardaway; nephew, Jim (Louise) Hardaway; and sister-in-law, Nancy Hardaway.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Griffin, Jim Hardaway, Earl Barr, Val Vastola, Randall Keith and Bob Sansing. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sam Sherrill, Hall Hardaway, Jr. and choir members of First Baptist Church, Joy Singers and Echoes.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 227 East Main Street, Lebanon, Tenn. 37087, or a charity of choice.
