Ms. Childers, 75, of Old Hickory, died Friday.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. A private graveside service will be at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10-11 a.m.
Christine Bellar Lewis
Visitation for Mrs. Lewis will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 4-7 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 13 from 1 p.m. until funeral services at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Bro. Bob Evans will officiate the services. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis, 87, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013. Mrs. Lewis was born on Oct. 26, 1925. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Lebanon’s First United Methodist Church, and a 1943 graduate of Lebanon High School. She attended Cumberland University and was co-owner of Bellar Furniture Company where she worked for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rayburn and Cleo Skeen Bellar; husband of 62 years, John R. Lewis; son and daughter-in-law, John C. “Jack” and Agnes Finchum Lewis.
She is survived by daughter, Sandra Lewis Farley; son, Richard R. (Deb) Lewis; sister, Peggy (Bob) Evans; grandchildren, Lewis (Brandi) Farley, Chris (Jessie) Lewis, Jennifer Lewis, Russell Lewis, Joy Lewis and Bryant (Amanda) Wright; great-grandchildren, Breah, Colton, Christopher and Honey Lewis, Joah Brackett, Caitlin and Penelope Wright.
Her grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. A special thank you to Dr. Kevin McKechnie M.D. and the Pavilion staff, Dr. Jackson Wray M.D. and third floor staff at Speciality Select Hospital.
Funeral services for Mr. Reasonover are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with Rev. David Winton officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home and Thursday after noon at the church.
Mr. Reasonover, 86, of Lebanon, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
Born June 5, 1926, in Wilson County, he was the son of the late Howard and Virginia Hunter Reasonover. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He was a life long farmer and worked for the Lebanon Fire Department for 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Hunter Reasonover and a sister, Evelyn Mason.
Survived by his wife of 71 years, Jean Halbert Reasonover; two children, Bill Hayes (Mary) Reasonover and Janet (Roy) Vaden; six grandchildren, Cherie (Jeff) Adams, Jerry Owens, Ben (Helen) Wahl, Matt (Stacie) Wahl, Jeff Vaden and Daniel (Jessica) Reasonover; two great grandchildren, Avery Wahl and Davis Reasonover; special cousin, Ruth Arrington.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lebanon City Firemen, Robert Thorne, John Halbert, Jim Harper, and Jim Major.
Active pallbearers will be Matt Wahl, Daniel Reasonover, Jeff Vaden, Ben Wahl, Jeff Adams and Aaron Karp.
Memorials may be made to the Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
Louis Allen Tomlinson
Services for Mr. Tomlinson will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Groover officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Tomlinson, 78, of Old Hickory, passed away Feb. 9, 2013. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he attended Victory Baptist Church and was an avid bass fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Sara Tomlinson; sons, Jason (Erin) Tomlinson and Joseph Tomlinson; daughter, Jessica Tomlinson; grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Sara Katelyn Crabtree and Luke Allen Tomlinson; stepson, Dale (Sue) Johnson; stepdaughter, Miki Johnson.
