Funeral services for Mr. Doak will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 15 in the chapel of Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Eric Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-8 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel.
Jeremy, 34, of Lebanon, passed from this life suddenly Wednesday, April 10, 2013. A native of Wilson County he is the stepson of Charles L. Doak, Jr. and the son of the late Lisa Massey Thompson. He attended The Journey Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jill Doak of Lebanon; children, Cade Doak and Syah Doak; siblings, Zack Doak and Lindsey Doak, of Lebanon and Lacey Doak of Bowling Green, Ky.; grandmothers, Ann Evins Doak and Donnett Doak, both of Lebanon.

Funeral services for Mrs. Simms are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, April 14 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Don McElroy and Rev. David Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday 2-6 p.m. and Sunday after 2 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo.
Mrs. Simms, 94, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Elmcroft. Born April 1, 1919, in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Earl and Minnie Ola Vaught Talley. She was a graduate of Knoxville High School and was a member of First Baptist Church.
She married Vincent Simms on May 24, 1939, at the home of her parents. They owned and operated Simms TV in Lebanon for 65 years. She enjoyed traveling, photography, crafts and sewing. In her younger years she had many entries in the State Fair. She was a classy southern lady.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Vincent Simms on May 4, 2011; and siblings, Doyle Wilson Talley, Mary Louise Talley, Ruth Kathleen Wallace and Dorothy Mai Ballinger.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Gwen Simms of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Chris) Morgan, Michelle (Jeremy) Bettle, Melissa (Chris) Hancock, Tiffany Blanton and Amy Blanton; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Tanner, Sawyer, Warner and Anna Lyn Morgan, Jothi and Deepika Hancock; and sister, Elizabeth Thompson of Donelson.
Pallbearers will be Wendell Barrett, Chris Morgan, Richard Hosier, Tony McFalls, Phil Harlan, Bill Simms, Tanner Morgan and Sawyer Morgan.
The family would like to thank Elmcroft Assisted Living and Odyssey Hospice for their excellent care.
