Linda Faye Bennett
Graveside services for Ms. Bennett will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 19 at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Bennett, 63, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at Cedars Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Floy Bennett.
She is survived by family and friends.
Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Beulah Mai Shorter
Services for Mrs. Shorter will be noon Friday, April 20, at J.C. Hellum Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Douglas officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Shorter, 72, died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Summit Medical Center.
Survivors include: husband, Edward Lee Shorter of Lebanon; son, Harold (Navaele) of Watertown; grandchildren, Patrick Shorter of Murfreesboro, Dillard and Chris Waters of Watertown; great-grandchildren, Keith and Zarya Shorter of Murfreesboro; sister, Virginia (John) Majors of Lebanon; brothers, Thomas Adams of Lebanon, Robert (Kim) Adams of Pontiac, Mich., and James (Anele) Adams of Elgin, Ill.; brother-in-law, Darland Shorter of Lebanon; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Alexander of Lebanon and Ponise Shorter of Memphis; godbrother-in-law, Jesse Sewell of Lebanon; aunt, Annie Mae Griffin of Lakeland, Fla.; uncle, Paul Bailey of Chicago, Ill; friends, Gloria Mae Dye and Dorothy Clark; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, nephews, great-great-nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; her very special girl, Khia (Ring) Young.
