Nancy Rebecca Boyette Fulghum

Services for Mrs. Fulghum will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25 at Woodfin Funeral Chapel in Smyrna with Bro. Taylor officiating and music will be directed by Lenny Farmer. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 24 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fulghum, 80, died Sunday, April 22, 2012 at her home in Lebanon. She was the daughter of the late Larry Ava Sr. and Sallie Godwin Boyette.

Survivors include: husband of 61 years, Garland Brantley Fulghum Sr. of Lebanon; son, Garland (Nelda Sue) Fulghum Jr. of Joelton; daughter, Jennifer Gail Allen of Lebanon; brothers, Larry Ava Boyette Jr. and Robert Dock Boyette both of North Carolina; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, or West Hills Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Fulghum.

Charles Randall Kerr

Services for Mr. Kerr will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 25 at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet with Pastor Lee Stevenson and Pastor Gloria Scott officiating. A reception at Cooks United Methodist Church will follow the service. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 24 and 10-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Kerr, 78, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, April 22, 2012. He was a member of Cooks United Methodist Church and had served as president of the United Methodist Men’s Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a member of the American Legion, a Mason and a Kentucky Colonel. In Wichita, Kan., he served as president of the Greater Wichita Florist Association, president and secretary of the Wichita Chamber of Commerce and was a member of the Jaycees serving on the Rodeo Committee and Civil Defense Committee. He was past president of Mensa in Lexington, Ky., past president of the Commodore Boonesborough Boat Club in 1980 and was a founding member of the Cousteau Society, Norfolk Chapter in 1987. He successfully completed and taught the Dale Carnegie courses and in 1995 was listed in Marquis Who’s Who in America.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Charles Edward and Ethyle May Randall Kerr.

Survivors include: wife, Sharon Ann Fry Kerr; sons, Anthony, Stewart and Joseph Kerr and John Pawley; daughters, Konni Kerr, Kathi Kerr Grubbs, Kerri Roby, Kelli Montes, Kristi Dawson and Lisa Campbell; brothers, John and Thomas Kerr; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony Kerr, Stewart Kerr, Joseph Kerr, Billy Probst, Andrew Campbell, Dick Estes, Jim Webster, Larry Lovvorn and Tom Hart.

Mary Virginia Penland

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 26, at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 24 and 10 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Penland, 73, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, April 22, 2012. She was the daughter of the late, Cecil Howard and Estelle Crook Smith.

She was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Billy Dean Penland; and daughter, Sheri Beth Weincik.

Survivors include: son, Mark (Pam) Penland; daughter, Kelli Abner; sisters, Dorothy Etter and Helen Penland; grandchildren, Cody, Ryan and Justin Weincik, Sam, Gracie and Jack Penland and Ashley Abner.

Active Pallbearers will be Mark Penland, Sam Penland, Kyle Grace, Tommy Grace, Daniel Lucas, Matthew Lucas and Todd Lucas.

Janette 'Buttons' Savell Robinson

A memorial service for Ms. Robinson will be held at a later date.

Ms. Robinson, 44, formerly of Mt. Juliet died on Thursday, April 19, 2012 in Colorado.
