Mary Virginia Penland
Services for Mrs. Penland will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 26, at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Penland, 73, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, April 22, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Howard and Estelle Crook Smith.
She was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Billy Dean Penland; and daughter, Sheri Beth Weincik.
Survivors include: son, Mark (Pam) Penland; daughter, Kelli Abner; sisters, Dorothy Etter and Helen Penland; grandchildren, Cody, Ryan and Justin Weincik, Sam, Gracie and Jack Penland and Ashley Abner.
Active Pallbearers will be Mark Penland, Sam Penland, Kyle Grace, Tommy Grace, Daniel Lucas, Matthew Lucas and Todd Lucas and Bill Etter.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Works will be 3 p.m. Friday, April 27, at Fairview Church in Lebanon with Pastor John Akin officiating. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. on Friday prior to services at the church.
Mrs. Works, 75, died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at her home. She was a former member of North Main Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Ark. and a current member of Fairview Church. She was retired from the State of Arkansas Employment Security Division.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Joe Mack Works; and parents, Ervin and Thelma Jernigan.
Survivors include: son, John (Angela) Works of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; daughter, DeAnna (Charlie) Winn of Lebanon; grandchildren, Paige and Payton Winn and Joe and Anna Grace Works; brother, James (Charlene) Jernigan of Jonesboro; sister, Jean (Jerry) Wagner of Olive Branch, Miss.
