Rhoda Gill Jones

A memorial service for Mrs. Jones will be 4 p.m. Sunday April 29, at Third Baptist Church, 410 West McKnight in Murfreesboro with Rev. F. Murray Mathis and Steve Hutson officiating. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until the service on Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Jones, 93, of Murfreesboro, died April 24, 2012. She was a native of Tuckers Crossroads and daughter of the late Levi Thomas and Ethel Lee Wilkerson Gill. She was a member of Third Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: husband, A.J. Jones; brothers, Blake, Billie, Grey and Wayne Gill; sisters, Rebecca McGowan, Katholeen Ray, and Helon McDonald.

Survivors include: children, Joy (Glen) Beard of Watertown, Glenda (Bill) Smith of Lascassas, Dinah (Wendell) Agnew of Shelbyville, Mike Jones of Huntsville, Ala, Deborah (Joe) Spicer of Germantown and Patty (Bush) Cole of Brentwood; sisters, Ruth Womack of Nashville, Rosemarie Miller of Nashville and Faye Williams of Lebanon; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stones River Manor, 205 Haynes Dr., Murfreesboro, TN 37129, or Third Baptist Church.
