Shirley Buckingham Hobbs
Services for Ms. Shirley Buckingham Hobbs are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, April 30 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Watson officiating. Interment will follow at the Jackson Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-6 p.m. and Monday after 9 a.m.
Ms. Hobbs, age 67 of Lebanon passed away Friday, April 27, 2012, at the University Medical Center.
Born January 21, 1945, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Paul and Lula Mae Watkins Buckingham. She was a homemaker and a member of the Philadelphia Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Rhea Buckingham and Jerry Dale Buckingham.
Survivors include: three children, Chip (Amanda) Wilson of Dickson; Makel Wilson of San Diego, CA; and Kelly Sparkes of Jacksonville, Arkansas; sister, Linda (J. C.) O’Neal of Lebanon; six grandchildren, Kurstie, Kara, Kaitlyn and Kayla Wilson; Madison and Paden Sparkes; great granddaughter, Lainey Wilson.

Services for Mrs. Singleton will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 1 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Eltis Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Leeville Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, April 30 from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday, after 11 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.
Mrs. Singleton, 61, of Lebanon passed away Saturday, April 28 at University Medical Center in Lebanon.
She was born June 18, 1950 in Stafford Springs, Conn. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She had volunteered for the American Red Cross and the Wilson County Help Center.
Survivocrs include: husband, Philip S. Singleton; children, John (Sandy) Costello of Tolland, Conn., Robert (Caitlyn Owen) Henderson of Jacksonville, N.C., Katherine (Jesse) Saville of Bowling Green, Ky. and Zachary Henderson of Anchoarge, Alaska; step-daughter, Amanda (John) Butler of Dallas, Texas; grandson, J.T. Costello; father Sandino DiMaro of Fla.; mother, Dorothy Pothier Rogers of Pegram; brother, Allen DiMauro of Phoeniz, Ariz.; half-sisters, Dawn Demotte of Springfirled and Susan Sokol of Pegram; half brother, Jeff Rogers of Pegram.
