Joe R. Edmondson
Services for Mr. Edmondson, conducted by Bro. Milton Hicks and Bro. Leon Edwards, will be 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10 at the Living Springs Baptist Church (4559 Weakley Lane) in Smyrna. Interment in Lannom Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) on Tuesday from 3-8 p.m.
Mr. Edmondson, 89, passed away April 7, 2013.
Survivors include wife of 68 years, Sara McPeak Edmondson; children, Joe (Margaret) Edmondson and Jerelyn Eady; sisters, Louise Burnette and Margaret Bailey; grandchildren, Ron Eady Jr., Shane Eady, Laura Bennett, Gina White, Tina Luffman and Buster Edmonson; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents, George and Pearl Yarbrough Edmondson; daughter, Robin Edmondson; one sister; and five brothers.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Smith, Buster Edmondson, Jacob White, David Bennett, Ron Eady Jr., Shane Eady and Dalton Eady. Honorary pallbearers will be Fishers of Men Class and David Mottern.
Lennie Gary George Jr.
Mr. George, 89, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at 2 p.m. at Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones, 63, of Lebanon, died Friday.
Funeral services were Monday at 2 p.m. at Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Lafayette. Interment with military honors followed in Anderson & Son Memorial Park.
Gary Donald Lyda
Mr. Lyda, 76, of Old Hickory, died Friday.
Services will be Tuesday at 5 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet. Visitation will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Bond Memorial Chapel.
Barbara Ellen Mabry
Memorial services for Mrs. Mabry, conducted by Brother Kevin Medlin, will be 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11 at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike). The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 5 p.m. until the service on Thursday.
Mrs. Mabry, 69, passed away on April 7, 2013.
Survivors include children, Tracy (James) Tipton and Adrian (Niki) Mabry; brother, Jerry (Kathy) Smith; nieces and nephews, Greg Smith, Rodney (Mary Ann) Smith, Heather Smith, Chris Smith, Ryan Smith and Devin Smith; and grandchildren, Steven Tipton, Stacy Tipton and Emma Mabry.
She was preceded in death by husband Curt Mabry and parents, Henry and Elsie Knowles Smith.
Keith Myers Sr.
Mr. Myers, 75, of Hermitage, died Thursday, April 4, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Myers; sons, Keith Myers, Jr. and Bradley Myers; daughter, Tracey Cameli; grandchildren, Alexie, Austin, Mackenna, Madison, Shelby, Blake and Amanda.

Charles Walter "Chuck" Ross Jr.
Visitation for Mr. Ross will be held on Tuesday, April 9 from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday, April 10 from noon until the service at 1 p.m. in the Partlow Chapel. Rev. Paul Gardner will officiate the services. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Ross, 48, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 in the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was a member of Westland United Methodist Church, a
Lebanon High School graduate, attended Vol State and ITT. He was employed in
technical store support for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, an avid hunter, fisherman and Pittsburg Steelers fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Walter Ross Sr.; and maternal grandmother, Dorothy M. Ober.
He is survived by his mother, Carol (Leon) Dodd of Franklin; brothers,
Chris (Dana) Ross and Corey (Toni) Ross, both of Lebanon; sister, Charity (Larry)
Potts of Watertown; nieces, Miranda Ross, Samatha Potts and Sayla Potts;
nephews, Cody Ross and Caleb Ross; uncles, Ron (Brenda) Ross and Fred(Sylvia) Ross; stepbrothers, Leon Dodd Jr., John Dodd and Mike Dodd; stepsisters, Ann Dodd, Kathy VanGrinsven, Denise Lewis, Diane Lewis and Dana Perryman; numerous cousins.
Active pallbearers will be Jim Willoughby, Mike Dodd, Nick Zizan, Larry Potts, Billy Hargrove and Cody Ross. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Solomon, Uncle Ron and Uncle Fred.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to be make in Chuck's memory to the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital or Palliative Care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Pattie Lee Russell
Funeral services for Ms. Russell will be conducted by Elder Charles Allen Gentry on Wednesday morning, April 10 at 11 a.m. from the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sanderson Cemetery at Pleasant Shade.
Ms. Russell of the Southern Manor Living Center in Lebanon died at 9:55 a.m. Saturday morning, April 6, 2013 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage where she was admitted March 22. The last surviving of six children of the late Lum Taylor Russell and Edna Lula McDonald Russell, she was born at Pleasant Shade on June 20, 1920.
Ms. Russell, an educator, formerly taught at the Leeville Elementary School. She was a 1938 graduate of Chicago High School and in 1966 graduated from Cumberland College in Lebanon and later graduated for George Peabody College in Nashville with a Bachelors degree in education. Before returning to college she was employed at the former Cleveland Drugs in Carthage.
Siblings preceding her in death were Mack Russell, Jack Russell who died in May of 1988 at the age of 61, Mary Burford Russell who died Nov. 7, 1992 at the age of 79, Hallie Eudora Russell who died June 20, 1995 also at the age of 79 and Joseph Edward Russell who died September 1999 at the age of 81.
Surviving are two nieces, Barbara Griffin and husband Roy and Nina Russell Sutton also of Lebanon; six nephews, Jim Russell and wife Marie, Phil Russell and wife Martha all of Maryland; Bobby Russell and wife Joyce of Difficult, David Russell of Ashland City, Don Russell and wife Terri of Hendersonville and Ted Russell and wife Vickie of Difficult.
