Services for Mr. Taylor will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 2 at Peyton Road Church of Christ. Interment at Rest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at Neuble Monument Funeral Home and one hour prior to service on Thursday.
Mr. Taylor, 58, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father Phillip P. Taylor Sr.
Mr. Taylor leaves to mourn his passing, his devoted wife, Cheryl L. Taylor; two children, Carlos Taylor and Phylicia’ Taylor; one grandson, Donovin Taylor; mother, Mamie L. Taylor; two sisters, Linda (Shedrach) Seay, Cynthia (Phillip) Coleman; mother-in-law, Mary L. Harris; father-in-law, James (MaeNell) Franklin; two sisters-in-law, Lori Harris-Hammond, Montre’ Franklin-Green; seven nephews; two nieces; three great-nieces; three great-nephews; five aunts; two uncles; and a host of other family and friends.
Neuble Monument Funeral Home at 1330 Bluebird Road, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services for Mrs. White are scheduled to be conducted Wednesday, May 1 at 11 a.m. at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes with Bro. David Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Brush Creek Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the White family will be Wednesday after 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.
Mrs. White, 72, of Brush Creek, Tenn., passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at Quality Care Nursing Home in Lebanon.
Mrs. White was born Aug. 28, 1940 in Lebanon, the daughter of the late Nettie Wilkerson and Milus Allison Johnston. She married Dewey White on Aug. 4, 1956 and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2008. She is also preceded in death by brothers, Joe Johnston, Taft Johnston, Odis Johnston, Hoyal Johnston; and sisters, Lois Speck and Sodie Gilbert.
Mrs. White is survived by three children, Dana Frazier of Watertown, Monty (Michelle) White of Lebanon and Chrystal “Nikki” (Kenneth) Cowles of Brush Creek; eight grandchildren, Tony (Amber) Raymond, Shelly (Doug) Hendrixson, Justin Skinner, Jacob White, Mary Cowles, Timothy Cowles, Jade White, and Josh White; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Beady Johnston of Lebanon.
