Rev. James "Jim" Hogun
Funeral services for the Rev. Hogun will be held Tuesday, May 14 at 1 p.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Steve Williams officiating. Interment will follow the service at Roselawn Cemetery, Murfreesboro. Visitation with the family will be Monday, May 13 from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
Rev. Hogun, 87, of Murfreesboro, passed away May 8, 2013. Rev. Hogun was in the ministry for over 60 years and was the only Protestant minister to speak at the Monks' Monastery in Carmel Valley. He was a member of the Ministerial Alliance Association. He was a Master Gardener and enjoyed fishing.
Rev. Hogun was preceded in death by parents, James and Synthia Hogun; and son, Michael Earl Hogun. He is survived by wife of 61 years, Barbara "B. J." Hogun; daughter, Cathie Cantrell (Thomas) Manners; grandchildren, Stephanie (Daniel) Miller and Michael Cantrell; great-grandchildren, Nicole Miller, Kaleigh Miller and Mackenzie Grace Cantrell; one brother; three sisters; foster son, Chris Rutledge; numerous foster children; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Morrow, Daniel Miller, Paul McFarland, Tom Manners, Jason Rowsell and Justin Wyatt.
Pamela Kaye Gregory McCoy
There will be a private family service for Ms. McCoy.
Ms. McCoy passed away at home after a lengthy medical illness.
She is survived by a loving companion of 15 years, Tony Lyles; one daughter, Kendal Allison; four grandchildren; father Finis Dean Gregory; two brothers, Mike (Susan) Gregory and Mark Gregory; sister, Kim Haynes; and several nieces and nephews.
Pam is preceded in death by mom, Earlene Gregory.
Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
Jim Reynolds, 88, died Thursday at University Medical Center.
