Ernest Ewen Crittenden Jr.

Services for Mr. Crittenden will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Dr. Donald Crittenden officiating. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Crittenden, 72, of Mt. Juliet, died May 12, 2013. He was a member of Rolling Thunder of Tennessee Ch. 1 and American Legion Post 88 Riders.

He was preceded in death by wife, Lyndell Jo Crittenden; father, Ernest Ewen Crittenden Sr.; mother, Agnes Crittenden; and brother, David Crittenden.

Survivors include: daughters, Joyce Hagar (Richard) and Shannon Burnett; son, Doug Jones (Lynn); brothers, Donald Crittenden (Ann) and Jim Crittenden (Sara); five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Alene Adamson Harvey

Services for Mrs. Harvey will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Tim Diffenderfer officiating. Interment will be in Talley Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the church.

Mrs. Harvey, 90, of Alexandria, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at University Medical Center. She was a longtime member of Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by parents, A.C. Adamson and Letha Francis Martin; husband, Joe Thomas Harvey; son, James Thomas "Tommy" Harvey; son-in-law, Eddie M. Crips; brothers, Clarence Adamson and Thurman Adamson; sisters, Bobbie Crook, Ada Hicks, Lucille Murphy, Geogia Adamson and Ethel Crook.

Survivors include: children, Mary Katherine (Richard) Matus, Margaret Doris (Donnie) Uselton and Charlotte Elaine (Ken) Chapman, all of Lebanon and Brenda Gail Crips of Smithville; daughter-in-law, Miranda Harvey of Alexandria; grandchildren, Kendra (David) Erie, Shelly Lynn Lanius, Randal (Tara) Harvey, Kevin (Angelia) Harvey, Chad (Kayla) Harvey, Ryan Crips and Jeff (Melissa) Crips; great-grandchildren, Andrea Crowe, Drew Erie, Kailey Harvey, Wyatt Harvey and Grace, A.J. and Zack Crips; great-great-grandchild, Bailey Crowe; sisters, Betty Jean Bryan and Sara Hicks; sisters-in-law, Mable Christian, Montie Lee Robinson and Willie Harvey; and several nieces and nephews.

Charles “Butch” Hodge

Funeral services for Mr. Hodge will be held Wednesday, May 15 at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Fesler officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday after 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hodge, 69, of Lebanon, passed away May 13, 2013, at his home. Born in Wilson County, he was the son of the late Charles “Buddy” Hodge and Onie Lackey Hodge. He was a 1962 graduate of Lebanon High School and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. He retired from Wynn’s Precision Rubber.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sandra Kay Robertson Hodge; two daughters, Lisa Gail (Jody) Burke and Julie Hodge; two grandsons, Cody Burke and Jaden Hodge; and two sisters, Onie Philabaun and Donna McIntyre.

Pallbearers will be Mitch, Matt, and Mark White, Adam and Andrew Howell and Bubba Shrum.

Phyllis Shelton Ray

Services for Mrs. Ray were 11 a.m. Monday, May 13 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Pastor John Hunn and Bro. Donald Owens officiating. Interment was at 3 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Goodlettsville.

Mrs. Ray, 74, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at University Medical Center. Born April 1, 1939, in Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Philip A. and Mary B. Torlay Shelton. She was an administrative assistant for many years and was a talented artist. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday school in children, adult and special needs classes.

She is survived by her husband, Adron Wayne Ray; four children, Shelton Ray (Rick) Baron of Austin, Texas, Adron Wayne Ray Jr. of Suffolk, Va., Dinah Ray (Russ) Fitzgerald of Atlanta, Ga. and John (Arjana) Ray of Glasgow, Ky.; four sisters, Elizabeth Siske of Franklin, Ky., Dorothy Rooker of Smyrna, Mary Jo Buenfil and Marti Dobbs, both of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Wayne Ray III, Stephen Ray, Keith Baron, Ryan (Courtney) Fitzgerald, Jessica Fitzgerald and Isabella Ray; and great-grandchild, Ryder Fitzgerald.
