Louise Nixon Alexander
Services for Mrs. Alexander will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Round Lick Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Burns officiating. Interment will be in Poplar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 16 at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown and 1 p.m. until the service on Thursday at the church.
Mrs. Alexander, 90, of Watertown, died Monday, May 14, 2012 at University Medical Center. She was retired from Robertshaw Lux Time and was born in Feb. of 1922 in Dekalb Co.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Calvin and Verna Judkins Nixon; husband, Howard Wilson Alexander; and brother, Robert Dee Nixon.
Survivors include: daughters, Linda (Phillip) Parkerson of Lebanon and Jean (Mike) Flynn of LaVergne; grandchildren, Tony and Brian Parkerson, both of Lebanon, Dana (Abe) Scraggins of Smyrna and Chad Flynn of LaVergne; great-grandchildren, Landon Rhodes and Katherine Jane Scraggins; brother, Alfred (Marie) Nixon of Watertown; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tony and Brian Parkerson, Abe Scraggins, Chad Flynn and Carl and William Wade Nixon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adult 1 Women's Sunday School Class and the staff of Southern Manor Living Center.
Lawrence Allen Brooks
Graveside services for Mr. Brooks with military honors will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at Nashville National Cemetery.
Mr. Brooks, 61, died Friday, May 11, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harold B. and Roberta L. Lawrence Brooks Sr.
Survivors include: brother, Harold B. Brooks, Jr.; close friends, Vann Hall and the Hall family; and Steven Lee; and the extended family of Harold and Roberta Brooks.
Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon in charge of arrangements.
Sally Francis Anderson Frost
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday May 17, at Partlow Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Frost, 64, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012. She was a member of the Catholic faith, and a Master Gardner with Five Oaks Country Club.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Charles and Alvira Foltz Anderson; and brother, Patrick Anderson.
Survivors include: husband of 46 years, David Frost; sons, Paul Charles Frost of Lebanon and Seth David Frost of Hendersonville; brothers, Bruce (Mary Louise) Anderson of Texas and Ronnie (Karen) Anderson of Wisconsin; sister, Cathy (Mike) Gallagher; sister-in-law, Joanna Anderson of Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or Habitat for Humanity.
