Sarah Page Baines
Funeral services for Mrs. Baines will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home with Bro. Buford Bane and Bro. Michael Hobery officiating. Burial will follow in the Page family lot at Smith County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Baines, 76, of the Bellwood Community died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Lebanon Health and Rehab Center. She retired from Robertshaw-Lux with over 18 years of service. She was a member of the Emmanuel Gospel Fellowship Church. She was born in the Hiwassie Community of Smith Co. in July of 1935 to the late Louis Walter Page and Laura Katherine Webb Page.
She was preceded in death by: parents; and brother, Walter Page.
Survivors include: children, Ricky Baines of Bellwood, Melinda (Calvin) Sanford of Murfreesboro, Lisa Baines of Bellwood, Ronnie Baines of Wartburg; the father of her children Roy Baines of Lebanon; sisters, Lucy Dawson of Lebanon, Mary (Jerry) Gibbs of Hiwassie, Annie Winfree of Bellwood, Jennie Manning of Colbert, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Charlene Ashley Maloney
Services for Miss Maloney will be 11 a.m. Monday, May 21, at Lebanon First United Methodist Church.
Miss Maloney, 19, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She graduated from Wilson Central High School in 2011. She was born in July of 1992.
Survivors include: parents, James and Debra Burt of Lebanon; father, Tom of Antioch; sisters, Jackie, Raegan, Carrie, Amber and Cheyenne; brothers, Justin, Danny and Jim III; grandparents, Roberta and Richard of Fla. and James and Geri of Ky.; uncles, Tom, Mike, Richard and Rich; aunts Laura, Maureen, Colleen, Chari and Sharlene; best friends and cousins, Gail, Susie and Dawn; and many many more.
In lieu of flowers please send donations in honor of Charlene to the Nashville Zoo Ape planetarium.
Dorothy Kolbe Thompson
Services for Mrs. Thompson will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, with the Rev. Terry Cathey and the Rev. Charles McKnight officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Saturday, May 19 and noon until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thompson, of Lebanon, died Friday, May 18, 2012 at University Medical Center. Born in Wilson Co., she was the daughter of the late John Clinton Kolbe and Eva Pulley Kolbe. She worked for former Wilson County Circuit Court Clerk Perry Johnson and was a homemaker. She was a member of Barton’s Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by: brothers, William and Charles Kolbe; and sister, Emma Allison.
Survivors include: husband of over 70 years, J.W. Thompson; brothers, John (Ann) Kolbe of Donelson, Robert (Charlotte) Kolbe of Donelson, Gerald Kolbe of Lebanon; sisters-in-law, Ruth Kolbe of Madison and Brenda Kolbe of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews; friends, Sue Shelton, Dimple Hayes, Pat Callis, Don and Carol Hobbs, and Betty Crutchfield.
Pallbearers will be Wes, Micheal, and Jack Kolbe, Don Hayes, Bob Burns, Tony Shelton, Eddie Vaught and Joe Alsup. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of Barton’s Creek Baptist Church.
