Pauline 'Polly' Bryant Frost
Funeral services for Ms. Frost will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Friday, June 1 and 10 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Ms. Frost, 89, of Lebanon died Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the Pavillion. She was born in January of 1923 in Wilson Co. to the late Cornelius V. Bryant and Lettie Mai Ledbetter Bryant Mitchner. She was a Baptist and worked in the restaurant industry in Fla. and Tenn. for many years.
She was preceded in death by: parents; sisters, Louise Hunt, Catherine Brooks and Ruth Agee; and brothers, Holloway and Dayton Bryant.
Survivors include: sisters, Lucille Alsup of Lebanon and Evelyn O’Neal of Bossier City, La.; and several nieces and nephews.
Nephews will serve as Pallbearers.
Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Susan Minton Hawkins
Funeral services for Mrs. Hawkins will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Don Mathis and Bro. Matthew Sickling officiating. Interment will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 1 and noon until the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hawkins, 48, of Lebanon died Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She was born in September of 1963 in Owensboro, Ky., to Sue Mellott Minton of Lebanon and the late Jerry Lynn Minton. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Watertown.
Survivors include: mother; husband, Woode Hawkins; sons, Andrew (Rachel) Woolen of Lacenter, Ky., Kevin (Amanda) Woolen of Cave City, Ky. and Nathan (Erin) Woolen of Centertown, Ky.; granddaughter, Layla Woolen; grandsons, River and Cyrus Woolen; brothers, John Alan (Gina) Minton of Corbin, Ky. and Earl Lynn Minton of Lebanon; and nieces, Brianna and Elizabeth Minton.
Pallbearers will be Tony Minton, Tom Minton, Kelly Clark, Tommy Callis, Nathan Barnes and David Smith.
Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Evelyn Kizzee
Graveside services for Mrs. Kizzee will be 10 a.m. EST Saturday, June 2, in Woodland Cemetery in Ironton, Ohio.
Mrs. Kizzee, 100, of Hermitage, died Saturday, May 26, 2012.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Winfield and Ethel Chatfield Abbott; and husband, Sherman Kizzee.
Survivors include: daughter, Elaine Nunnery; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
