Florence Mercedes Kenney
A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Kenney will be celebrated at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Lebanon on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.
Mrs. Kenney, 87, passed away June 9, 2013 at Quality Care in Lebanon.
She was born Sept. 24, 1925 to Charles and Lucy (Murphy) Fried of Bronx, N.Y.
Florence attended Fordham University (accounting) and worked for top New York City companies in the fashion, radio production, public relations and financial services industries.
In her retirement to Cutchogue, Long Island, N.Y. with her husband, Raymond, she kept busy by taking long walks with her Schnauzer, Kelly, and enjoyed feeding the swans and ducks. She was also a bookkeeper at North Fork Country Club and volunteered at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Mattituck, N.Y.
She moved to Lebanon on Jan. 7, 2009 to reside with her nephew, Bob O’Brien (wife Pat). She attended St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
Mrs. Kenney was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, and her sister, Genevieve O’Brien. She is survived by her nephew, Robert (wife Pat) O’Brien of Lebanon; her great-niece, Ann Marie (John) Najeway of Mogadore, Ohio; her great-niece Kelly (Matt) Pramik of Munroe Falls, Ohio; her three great-great nieces, Alison, Emma and Madison; and her great-great nephew, A.J.
Lois Genell Trusty Walls
Mrs. Walls, 80, of Watertown and formerly of Lebanon, died Sunday at her home.
Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Gordonsville Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes. Burial will follow in Gordonsville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Carl Robert Walpus
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Walpus will be held on Thursday, June 12 at 2 p.m. in the Leeville United Methodist Church.
Mr. Walpus, 79, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013 in the University Medical Center. Mr. Walpus was a retired salesman with Milwaukee Power Tools and a member of Leeville United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Robert Walpus Sr. and Margaurette Franson Walpus; son, Bradley J. Walpus.
He is survived by wife of 59 years, Shirley Mae Ferguson Walpus; sons, Douglas E.(Jennifer) Walpus and Mark Robert (Zanna) Walpus; daughters, Elizabeth Ann(Robert) Jordan and Kristin Lynn Presher. In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made in Mr. Walpus' memory to the Leeville United Methodist Church, 7019 Hickory Ridge Road, Lebanon, Tn. 37090.

Gelinda Ann Wessel
Funeral services for Mrs. Wessel will be on Thursday, June 13 at 11 a.m. in the
Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation on Wednesday, June 12 from 5-8 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Interment will be inCedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Wessel, 44, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at University Medical Center. Mrs. Wessel was a caregiver and of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Wessel was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James and Lillian Pauline Davis; paternal grandparents, Alvin and Florence Gonyea; father, Floyd Gonyea; and husband, George Wessel.
She is survived by son, Jordan Wessel; mother, Linda Bennett of Mt. Juliet; brother, Carl Gonyea of Michigan; fiancé, Keith Lynn; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
