Jerry Waymond Cherry
Services for Mr. Cherry will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at Carthage Chapel of Bass Funeral Homes. Interment in Smith County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be noon-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 and noon until the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Cherry, 49, of Carthage, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at his home. He was born in Gallatin to Audrey Alice Reecer Cherry and the late Rentford Mack Cherry. He was an antique dealer and an avid bingo player.
Survivors include: mother, of Lebanon; siblings, Patricia (James) Bybee Sr. of Lebanon, Steven (Cheryl) Cherry of Greenwood, Ind., Stanley (Arnolia) Cherry of Spencer, Ind., Barry (Dori) Cherry of Inianapolis, Ind., Danny Cherry of Gainesboro, Tenn., Janet (Rodney) Shrum Sr. of Lebanon, Larry 'Pee-Wee' Cherry of Indianapolis, Shelia Lea of Gallatin and Connie Mack Cherry of Indianapolis; caregiver, Ricky Blankenship of Carthage; and several nieces, nephew and cousins.
The Cherry family request that memorials be made to the Funeral Fund.
Dixie Lee Willeford Cohagan
Memorial Services for Mrs. Cohagan will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at Church of the Servant Chapel in Oklahoma City with Rev. Randy Shrauner officiating.
Mrs. Cohagan, 84, of Oklahoma City, died on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at Mercy Hospital. She was born to Dick and Lela Willeford in Tobias, Neb. She grew up in Tobias and graduated from Tobias High School. She attended university at Doane College in Crete, Neb. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Lebanon where she helped start the first kindergarten class.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Francis L. 'Copey' Cohagan; and brother, Bill Willeford.
Survivors include: daughter, Cathy (James) Maxwell; twin sons, Rick and Randy and their wives, Amelia and Susan; grandchildren, Courtney (Ben Segars), Megan (Matt Cross), Jessica, Daniel, Mary, Ashley (Daniel Fleetwood) and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Michael and Maya; and sisters, Phyllis Bloss of Magnolia, Ark. and Ruth Ritter of Peoria, Ariz.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to: Coronado Heights Elementary School Special Olympics, 5911 N. Sapulpa, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.

Mr. Franklin, 52, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012.

Mrs. White, 57, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Lee White.
Survivors include: son, Joseph Lynn Malone; daughter, Lisa Jane Malone; sisters, Betty 'Dimple' (R.C.) White and Pamela Joyce Edwards; aunt, Gladys Allison; niece, Alison (Andy) Egan; and great-niece Emalie Grace Egan; grandchildren, Vincent Joseph Malone and Allie Lynn Malone; and lifetime companion 'Buddy'.

Mildred Holland Young
Services for Mrs. Young will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, with Eld. Danny Tomlinson and Mike Vaughn officiating. Interment in Leeville Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 and 11 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Young, 84, of Mt. Juliet, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at her home. She was born in Wilson Co. to the late Thomas Isaac Holland and Winnie Myrtle Draper Holland. She was a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and a member of the Beckwith Church of Christ. She retired from Texas Boot with 38 years of service.
She was preceded in death by: husband, James Robert Young; and brother, George 'Buck' Holland.
Survivors include: children, Jean Dickinson Brown of Mt. Juliet, William Jerry (Kathy) Young of Franklin, Danny Thomas (Joann) Young of Norene and Tony (Jeanette) Young of Mt. Juliet; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as active Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy and Scotty Holland and Dr. Roger McKinney.
