Services for Mrs. Brown will be 1 p.m. Satuday, Sept. 22, at Friendship Baptist Church in Birmingham, Ala. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Arrington Funeral Home Inc in Birmingham.
Mrs. Brown, 66, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.

Melvin Allen Piercey
Services for Mr. Pirecey will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Maple Hill Church of Christ. Interment in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Partlow Funeral Chapel and 10 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the church.
Mr. Piercey, 92, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 at The Pavillion. He was a flight engineer in the United States Air Force for 20 years, serving in World War II. He was retired from TRW and a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Luther and Blanche Piercey; wife, Dorothy Piercey; brothers, Wayne and Doug Piercey; and sister, Fredda Russell.
Survivors include: son, Michael (Pat) Piercey; sisters, Ramona (Charles) Haskins, Karin (J.H.) Drennon and Alvilda Hancock; grandchildren, Jason (Ashlee) Piercey and Emily (Mark) Blanks; great-grandchildren, Eli, Jackson, and Kylee Piercey and Lillian and Pierce Blanks; and several nieces and nephews.
Nephews will serve as Pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Maple Hill Church of Christ building fund.
