Patricia Ann Taylor Dean
Memorial Services for Mrs. Dean will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Broad Street United Methodist Church in Cleveland, Tenn. with the Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until the service on Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Dean, 68, died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 at her home in Cleveland. She taught at Cleveland Junior High School and Cleveland Middle School for 26 years, and was a member at Broad Street United Methodist Church. She grew up in Maryville and was the daughter of the late Thomas Lowry Taylor and Barbara Anderson Taylor.
She was preceded in death by: parents; and husband, Harry Norman Dean.
Survivors include: sons, Thomas H. (Wendy) Dean of Columbus, N.C. and Charles T. (Jennifer) Dean of Lebanon; granddaughters, Mallory and Taylor Dean of Lebanon; brother, Bill (Barbara) Taylor of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; and sister, Susan Hitch of Maryville.

Eva Virginia Hurt
Services for Mrs. Hurt will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet with Bro. Buddy Neal officiating. Interment in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hurt, 81, of Hermitage, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012. She was a member of Corinth Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Robert and Josie Mai Temple Eakes; and brothers, Lee Roy Eakes and Lucian Eakes.
Survivors include: husband of 63 years, Robert Hurt; son, Eddie (Cindy) Hurt; daughters, Sherry (Larry) Faircloth, Terri (Steve) Sutherland-Fret, and Shanta Hurt; sister, Johnnie Mai Ellis; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Active Pallbearers will be Chris and Brandon Faircloth, Matt Tidwell, Graham Sutherland, Eric Rhoton, Chris Massaglia and Caleb and Connor Hopkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Browning Fuller, James Eakes, Robbie Rowland, Paul Gentry and Gary McElhaney.
