Beverly Farrell Arnold

Services for Mrs. Arnold will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at St. Stephen Catholic Community in Old Hickory with Father Patrick Kibby officiating. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to services.

Mrs. Arnold, 93, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 in Hermitage. She was born in Burlington, Vt. to the late Thomas V. and Elodia Farrell. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Class of 1938 and a 1942 graduate of Trinity College. She married John C. Arnold on June 26, 1946. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include: only child, Pamela (Thomas) Beliveau of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren, John (Heather) Beliveau of Blanco, Texas, Aimee (Daniel) Flores of Keller, Texas and Gregory (Kari) Beliveau of Lubbock, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Anna and Alexandra Beliveau and Elizabeth and Abigail Flores.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Beverly be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Arrangements by Bond Memorial Chapel.

Claude L. "Junior" Gibson

Memorial services for Mr. Gibson will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Pedigo officiating. Visitation will be noon until the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Gibson, 53, of Watertown, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012 at University Medical Center. He was an electrician, graduate of Watertown High School and a member of Watertown First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by mother, Dora Lee Payne Gibson and father, Claude Gibson.

Survivors include: sister, Jean (Bobby) Gwynn of Lebanon; brother, Jimmy Gibson of Watertown; niece, Kimberly (Chris) Bolt of Lebanon; great-nephew, Zachary Bolt; great-nieces, Abigail and Gwyneth Bolt; and aunts, cousins and friends.

Hazel Harper Gray

Services for Mrs. Gray will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating. Interment will be in Crestview Memorial Park in Gallatin. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and Friday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gray, 78, of Laguardo, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at University Medical Center. Born in the Rock City Community of Smith County, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Calhoun Harper Sr. and Maude Victoria McDonald Harper. She was a homemaker and had worked at LUX Clock. She was a member of Laguardo Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Gray; son, Michael Wayne Gray; sisters, Victoria Harper and Eva Mae Edmondson; and brothers, James and Rufus Harper.

Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kathy Gray of Laguardo; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan (Anita), Shanna and Brian Gray and Jessica (Josh) Lassiter; and sister, Gloria McDaniel.

Pallbearers: Jonathan Gray, Brian Gray, Larry McDaniel, Chris Harper, William Harper, and Melvin Harper.

Emma Eunice Sanford Lain

Graveside services for Mrs. Lain will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7 at Bartons Creek Cemetery with Bro. Jonas Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lain, 94, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at University Medical Center. Born in Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Donald and Mattie Lou Dies Sanford. She retired from Sanders Manufacturing and was a member of West Hills Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James Robert Lain; sisters, Mamie Hollis and Edna Pearl Sanford; and brothers, Duward, W. D., Porter, Clinton and Joe Sanford.

Survivors include: daughters, Robbie Gay (Clayton) Gray, Eunice Ann (Billy) Brummett and Sherry Jo (Raymond) Watson, all of Lebanon; brother, Ray Sanford of Lebanon; grandchildren, Pamela (Mike) Hardin, Terry (Glenda) Gray, Kevin (Karen) and Kent (Angela) Brummett, Tommy (Bethany) Wright and Alicia (Derek) Whited; 16 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be Jake and Logan Gray, Alan and Joey Hardin, Christian and Eli Brummett and Dusty and Chase Meador.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law.

Richard John White

A Rosary service for Mr. White will be Friday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church. Father Michael O’Bryan will officiate. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Mr. White, 71, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at University Medical Center. He was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church and a retired employee of Campbell Hausfeld.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Leo and Verge Esther Peterson White; son, Mark Patrick White; his wife’s parents, Lester C. and Genevieve Schade; stepfather, Clem Alig.

Survivors include: wife of 50 years, Linda White; son, John (Eve) White of Lebanon; daughters, Jenni (Brian) Jones of Virginia, Lisa White of Mt. Juliet and Jolie (Tony) Britt of Lebanon; grandchildren, Emily, Heather and Nicole Jones, Alex, Mark, Evan and Aiden Britt and Veronica, Logan and Gigi White; brother, Jay (Bobbi) White of Arkansas; sisters, Margaret (Clarence) Groff of South Carolina and Kathy (Jack) Smith of Nebraska; stepsister, Jean (Dale) Anderson; stepbrother, Jerry Alig.
