A memorial service for Mrs. Fuqua will be held Thursday, Oct. 4 at 4 p.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Caryl Strange. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 p.m.
Mrs. Fuqua, 80, born July 30, 1932, died Sept. 30, 2012.
She was preceded in death by parents, Brandell and Betty Parker; husband, Radford Greenwood; and son, Michael Fuqua.
Survivors include: son, Avery (Cheryl) Fuqua; grandchildren, Seth Fuqua, Jennifer (Kyle) Noyed and Micah Wallace; great-granddaughter, Kapree Fuqua; daughter-in-law, Patricia Fuqua; brothers, Scottie (Hazel) Parker and Roger Parker; niece, Candace (Ben) Bridges and great-niece, Zadie Bridges.
The family wishes to thank New Heart Christian Church and Pastor Caryl Strange for their love and support, Alive Hospice, especially Stacy, Ketty and Lacy and neighbors that loved her dearly and checked on her daily.

Rebecca Ann Gilley
The Memorial Service for Ms. Gilley, conducted by Bro. David Haun, is 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the service.
Rebecca Ann “Becky” Gilley, of Castalian Springs, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at age 47.
She is preceded in death by son Michael Joe Gilley, brother Keith Gilley, and father Howard Kenneth Gilley.
Survivors include: parents, Joyce Barrett and Bill Anderson; children, Charles Gilley and Crystal Gilley; siblings, Melissa (Eddie) Ratliff, Kenneth (Vinnie) Gilley, Freddie Wade, Kim Goolsby, Wanda Amos, Billie Lynn Anderson, Penny Lenning, and John Harmon; grandchild, Bella Grace Ann Gilley; and several nieces and nephews.

Carol Ann Hobbs
Funeral services for Mrs. Hobbs will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. from the Barton’s Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Donald Owens and Bro. Charles McKnight officiating. Interment will be in the Barton’s Creek Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 2-8 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo and one hour before services at the church.
Mrs. Hobbs, 65, of Lebanon, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 at her home. She was a retired school teacher with Wilson County Schools having taught at Mt. Juliet Junior High, with 35 years of service. She was a graduate of Eastern New Mexico State University and attended Middle Tennessee State University. In 1997 she was a National Science Teacher’s Association delegate to the K-8 Science Education Leadership Institute at the Smithsonian in Washington, DC. She was honored in the Eight and Ninth Edition of Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. Since retiring in 2005 she has remained active by mentoring for the Teach Tennessee Program, substitute teaching and teaching water aerobics at Sports Village. She was a member of Barton’s Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by father, Arthur “Spec” Krattiger; mother and step-father, Jimmie and Garth Jordan.
Survivors include: her husband of 44 years, Don A. Hobbs; two daughters: Misti (Robert Jr.) Molchan of Murfreesboro, Heather (Stuart) Irby of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Mikah Hobbs, Blaine Fussell, Taiv Molchan, Adayln and Kali Irby; brother, Thomas (Molly) Krattiger.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Sports Village Water Aerobics Class, West Wilson Middle School Teachers and Staff, Wes Thompson, Shirley Dewitt, Laura Honeyman, Jamie Brooks, Sonya Duncan, Donna Fussell. Active Pallbearers will be Stuart Irby, Rob Molchan, Wayne Beadle, Chuck Farmer, Randy Dewitt, Joe Alsup.

Thelma Bush Jenkins
Funeral services for Mrs. Jenkins will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Jonas Taylor and Bro. Shane Ray officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethlehem Cemetery at Tuckers Crossroads. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday after 10 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.
Mrs. Jenkins, 79, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at University Medical Center. Born Oct. 5, 1932, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Herman and Minnie Dickens Bush. She was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son-in-law, Greg Marsh; sister, Dorothy Dishman; and two brothers, Earl and Luther Bush.
She is survived by her husband of over 64 years, Newell Jenkins; two children, Diane Jenkins Marsh and Darrell (Ria) Jenkins; four grandchildren, Lorie Marsh, Aaron, Tabitha and Tiffany Jenkins; sister, R.V. Prewett; and two sisters-in-law, Winnie Bush and Evelyn Bush.
Honorary pallbearers: Neva Elmore, LaChell Stewart, Tracy Storch, Saundra Robinson, Trista Wright, Nella Rigsby, and Lisa Carter Cook. Active pallbearers: Donnie Sanders, Aaron Jenkins, Gary Bush, David Sanders, Harold Jenkins, and Wayne Jenkins.

Lawrence S. Lovvorn
Funeral services for Mr. Lovvorn were conducted 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Dr. Craig Goff and Pastor Lee Stephenson officiating. Interment was in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation was 4-8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to service time Monday at Bond Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Lovvorn, 79, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012. He was a member of Cooks United Methodist Church where he served as Treasurer for 11 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War. He retired as the Financial Director for IKG Industries. He was Past President, Past National Director, Past Chairman of the Tennessee Valley Council and Emeritus Life Member of the Institute of Management Accountants. He served on the Tennessee Council for the Boy Scouts of America and was a member and Past President of the Mt. Juliet Breakfast Rotary Club. He was a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow and had served as Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 6780.
He was Past Chairman of the Wilson County Adult Education Advisory Council, former Secretary of the Wilson County Board of Zoning Appeals and Secretary/Treasurer of 911-Wilson County Emergency Communication District and had served on several other county boards. He was a Tennessee Squire and participated in various fundraisers for the Mt. Juliet Senior Citizen Center.
He was the son of the late Johnny H. and Evie Williams Lovvorn. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Hugh and Leo Lovvorn
Survivors include: wife of 59 years, Patricia A. Lovvorn; sons, Al (Debbie) Lovvorn and Ashley Lovvorn; and brother, Floyd (Helen) Lovvorn.
Honorary pallbearers were Earl Beaty, the Mt. Juliet Breakfast Rotary Club, the Wilson County Adult Education Advisory Council and the 911-Wilson County Emergency Communications District Board of Directors.

Shirley Ann Murphy Roberts
Services for Mrs. Roberts will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3 at Wilson County Funeral Home with Eld. Jack Puckett and Pastor Bobby Lynn Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Wilson County Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Mrs. Roberts, 67, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012.
She was preceded in death by father, Lester Murphy; brother, Billy Murphy; and son, Danny Roberts.
Survivors include: husband, James Roberts; mother, Grace Hall; brother, Robert Murphy; sister, Brenda Tisdale; six sons; two daughters; 13 grandsons; 11 granddaughters; five great-grandsons; seven great-granddaughters; and many foster children.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Carol Harris Thomas
Funeral services for Mrs. Thomas will be Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Bill Speight officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thomas, 67, of Mt. Juliet, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012. She graduated from Mt. Juliet High School in 1962. She was very active in the community, the historical society and church. She was a History teacher at Mt. Juliet High School.
She was preceded in death by parents, Bryan and Carrie Harris; and daughter, Tara Kay Thomas.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Paul Thomas; son, Bryan Thomas; sister, Kay Smith; brother, Kenneth Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Geric Smith, Kendall Smith, George Thomas, Rufus Page, Ralph Summers, Garnett Forkum, Kevin Reeves and Randy Harris. Honorary pallbearers are Carolyn Eakes, Sharon Reeves, Jimmy Tate, Doug Stilts, Gage Smith, Madeleine Smith and Kennedy Smith.
