Dowal O’Neill ‘Dick’ Dickerson Sr.
Funeral services for Mr. Dickerson will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 25, at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Chaplain Perry Muse will officiate. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
Mr. Dickerson, 84, of Lebanon died Friday, April 20, 2012, at his home with his wife and son at his side. Born in Grinnell, Iowa in March 1928 to the late William Thomas and Claris Viola Wright Dickerson, he had many jobs and interests throughout the years. Mr. Dickerson worked for General Dynamics/Convair Division, Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical, Digital Development Corp., Data Electronics Inc. as material manager, Ametek as a purchasing manager, Cubic Corporation, Hercules Inc., in Salt Lake City and owner of Pine-log Fencing Co. He also owned his own restaurant in his early years.
He was an avid golfer and his pool game, well, he, too, was a hustler. He played trumpet in a band and was good enough to be first chair. His cooking put the women to shame. He smoked the best salmon and his homemade beef jerky had a taste that made you come back for more.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, William and Pearl Dick Dickerson and James Armstrong and Elizabeth Jane Moulder Wright.
Survivors include: his wife of 27 years, Jannette Blanchard Dickerson; sons, Gregory James Dickerson, Neill Dickerson, Larry (Jill) Dickerson, Dowal Dickerson Jr.; daughters, Connie Jo (Jon) Dickerson Young, Cathy (David Stoddard) Lengeling; grandchildren, Michael (Valerie) Coleman, Lisa (Jeff) Coleman Rowen, William “Bill” Young, Elizabeth Young, Emma Dickerson, McKayla Russert; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Michael Coleman, Emily Sophia Coleman, Calvin Charles Painter, Maddie Rowen, Luke Rowan; extended family, Carlos and Theresa Blanchard (in-laws), Susan Blanchard Waterman, Michael (Jackie) Blanchard, Linda Blanchard McCoy, Steven Blanchard, Stephanie Hilden Ballard, Michael Jr. Blanchard, Kim Pardo, Deanne Strong, Amy Wickstrom, Christopher Blanchard, Nicholas Blanchard, Emily McCoy, Kyle McCoy, Mandy West and family, Donna Morrison and family, Karen Crawford and family; caregivers, Alice, Lauren and Megan.
Special thanks go to all the physicians who cared for Mr. Dickerson throughout the years as well as Willowbrook Hospice for giving him the care he needed over the past two years.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Harmony Rose Enos
Services for Miss Enos will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 25, at Sellars Funeral Home with Bro. Buford Bane officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 4- 8 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, and one hour before the service on Wednesday.
Miss Enos died Saturday, April 21,2012 at River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Tenn.
Survivors include: her parents, Michael Enos and Amanda Coles; grandparents, Rene Maas and Tonya Coles; aunt, Sheri (James) Curry; uncles, Cody, J.B., and Travis Coles; cousins, Sara Scovel and Lela Hadley. Services will be Wednesday 10 am @ Sellars Funeral Home with Bro. Buford Bane officiating. Visitation Monday and Tuesday 4-8pm and 1hr. before service.

Mary Viola Stoner
Funeral services for Mrs. Stoner will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown. Interment will be in Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today (Monday, April 23) and from noon until the service on Tuesday.
Mrs. Stoner, 98, of Watertown died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at NHC Health Care in Murfreesboro. A homemaker and seamstress, Mrs. Stoner was a member of Greenvale Baptist Church and attended Auburntown School. She was born in February 1914 in Auburntown, Tenn., the daughter of James Albert Tenpenny and Theodosia Melissa Fite Tenpenny.
She was preceded in death by not only her parents, but her husband, Tom K. Stoner; daughter, Tommie Schlamp; infant children, Lennie Mea Stoner and Obey Knight Stoner; infant grandfather, Debra Lynn Graham; brothers, Robert Tenpenny, Sam and Everette McMillen; and sister, Truman Orrand.
Survivors include: daughters, Bettye Blankenship of Greenvale and Lynda (Delbert) Graham of Milton; grandchildren, Mark (Marianne) Blankenship of Nolensville; Carol Ann (Stacey) Hardy of Russellville, Ala.; Timmy (Jamie) Graham of Springfield; Mary Fann of Murfreesboro; Todd Schlamp and John (Janelle) Schlamp, both of Nashville.
