Raymond Perry Bates
The Funeral Service for Mr. Bates, conducted by Bro. Donnie Baines, is 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) with visitation from 2 p.m. until the service.
Mr. Bates, 58, passed away on April 28, 2013.
Survivors include wife of 36 years, Debbie Bates; children, Brandy (Mike) Neely, Charity (Floyd) Smith, Brandon (Leigha) Bates and Daphne (Doug) Raines; siblings, Ronnie (Donna) Bates, Terry (Shirley) Bates, Eugene Bates, Debbie (Ricky) Qualls, Denise (Aaron) Maynard and Sandra (Ricky) Plumlee; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by brother, Jerry Lee Bates.
Nancy Lee Coleman
The family of Mrs. Coleman will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service. The Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Interment in Nashville National Cemetery will follow the service.
Mrs. Coleman, 78, passed away on April 28, 2013.
Mrs. Coleman is survived by two children, James (Delia) Coleman and Deborah Dye; grandchildren, Michael (Leigh) Dye, Amy Dye, Brittany Dye, Jennifer (Daniel) Bernhardt and Lindsay Coleman; great-grandchildren, Marshall Dye, Briana Dye, Caden Dye, Garrison Dye, Hailey Dye and Chloe Bernhardt; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by husband, James William Coleman Jr.; son, Kevin Coleman; parents, Ernest and Florence McGaw Arnold; brother, Ernie M. Arnold; and sister, Patricia Patterson.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family extends a special thank you to Alive Hospice at Skyline and MICU at Summit Medical Center.
Rita Gale Mille
Mrs. Mille, 55, of Nashville, died Monday at University Medical Center.
Services will be Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel in Lebanon. Visitation will be from 4-6:30 p.m.
Phillip Porter Taylor Jr.
Mr. Taylor, 58, of Watertown, died Saturday.
Services are Thursday at 2 p.m. at Peyton Road Church of Christ. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. at Neuble Monument Funeral Home and Thursday at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow Rest Hill Cemetery.
Mary Elizabeth Trusty
Funeral services for Mrs. Trusty are scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday after 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
Mrs. Trusty, age 88, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Born Jan. 18, 1925, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late George Herbert and Beulah Gladys Weatherley Lester. She was a member of Fairview Church and retired from Texas Boot. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Trusty, in 1979; great-granddaughter, Summar Nixon; and a sister, Ruth Ligon.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda (John) Nixon, Carolyn (Wayne) Oakley, all of Lebanon; two sisters, Frances Taylor, Jean Mofield, both of Lebanon; brother, Ralph Lester, of Winchester; grandchildren, Susan (Kevin) Haas, of Hermitage, Phil (Karen) Nixon, of Milton, Steven (Angie) Oakley, Phyllis (Jag) Thompson, all of Lebanon, Shelly (Jeremy) Melton, of Spring Hill; 13 great-grandchildren, Franklin, Amy, Sydney, Rachel, T.J., Jonathan, Seth, Lucas, Taylor, Lizzie, Olivia, Madison, and Sofia.
Kevin Haas, Phil Nixon, Steven Oakley, Jack Thompson, Jeremy Melton and Franklin Thompson will serve as pallbearers.
Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
