Fay Lewis Richards

Funeral services for Mrs. Richards are scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Brother Tim Parrish officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday after 9 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.

Mrs. Richards, age 84, of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at her home.

Born April 1, 1928, in Bowling Green, Ky., she is the daughter of the late Harry and Macy Dee Jaggers Lewis. She was a homemaker and volunteered at University Medical Center. She was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Richards, and 13 siblings.

She is survived by two children, Janice (Larry) Rainey, of Lebanon, Conrad B. (Pat) Richards, of Atlanta; three grandchildren, Tracy (Phil) Parkerson, of Lebanon, Alicia (Brad) Donnell and John S. (Monica) Richards, all of Atlanta; three great-grandchildren, Ashley Strickland, Carly Parkerson, Austin Donnell; brother, Millard (Ernestine) Lewis, of Russellville, Ky.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Jones and Dennis Jones.

Active pallbearers will be Phil Parkerson, Larry McCown, John Richards, Larry Norton, Kai Grissim and Paul Stovall.

Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, of Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.

Diane Britton Smith

Mrs. Smith will lie in repose Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Hellum Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 20, 2013, commencing at the chiming hour of 1 p.m. at Hellum Funeral Chapel at 107 Stokes St. in Lebanon. Pastor James R. Brooks will serve as eulogist, and Bishop Robert H. McFarland will be the officiant. Interment will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Smith, age 52, died Jan. 15, 2013, at University Medical Center.

Survivors include her mother, Rosie Lee Britton; husband, William B. Smith; children, Latone Britton, Latisha High; four grandchildren, Ka'Mecca High, Keiandre and Keianna Britton, Kaleigh Hurd; three sisters, Carolyn (Kenneth) Mitchell, Pamela (Kenny) Burns, Rosie M. Odom; two sisters-in-law, Shirlyne (Tony) Neely, Annie Margaret (Winston) Shaw; a myraid of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
