Services for Mrs. Denney will be 2 p.m. today (Monday, Jan. 30) at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation was Sunday, Jan. 29, from 4-8 p.m. and will be from noon until the funeral services today.
Mrs. Denney, 83, died on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Denney was a member of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marlowe and Martha Ann McQuary Johns; husband, Lloyd Wilson Denney; sons, Danny Denney and Ricky Denney; grandson, Christopher Denney; sisters, Helen Perigo and Vergie Jenkins; and brothers, Gerald Dean Johns and Leon Johns.
Survivors include: son, Lloyd Brent (Molly) Denney of Cedar Hill; daughter, Alice Mays (James) Lampley of Mt. Juliet; sister, Hilda Gunter of Kentucky; grandchildren, Todd Mays, Keith Mays, Sabrina Hudgens, Cherilyn Parker, Stacy Brooks and William Brooks; 14 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

M. Vernelle McClanahan
Services for Mrs. McClanahan will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria, Tenn., with Bro. Jason Groe officiating. Interment will be in Hillview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m, Tuesday, Jan. 31, and from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1.
Mrs. McClanahan, 91, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at University Medical Center in Lebanon. Born in August 1920 in Watertown, she was the daughter of the late S.T. King and Etta Malone King. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Henry Ford “Pete” McClanahan; sisters, Johnnie Humphrey and Mable Ballew; and her brother, Clyde King.
Survivors include: sister, Anna Mai Crowder of Alexandria; brother, J.W. King of Pleasant Hill, Mo.; nieces and nephews, Elain (Joel) Collins of Easley, S.C.; Michael (Dee) Humphrey of Russellville, Ark.; Rochelle (Mark) Gray of Pleasant Hill, Mo.; Tim (Julie) King and Kerry (Sarah) Jay, all of Belton, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Alexandria Library in her memory.

Jimmy Dean Sisco
Services for Mr. Sisco will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown with Bro. Bill Fowler officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. today (Monday, Jan. 30) and from 10 a.m. until the service on Tuesday.
Mr. Sisco, 49, died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at University Medical Center. A mechanic, he was born in October 1962 in Smith County, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Marion Sisco and Laura Beal Sisco; and a sister, Anise Daniels.
Survivors include: sisters, Diane (Ray) Enoch and Mary ‘Kat’ Pinkerton, all of Lebanon; brothers, Johnny Sisco and Eddie ‘Bubba’ Sisco, both of Lebanon; nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steven Enoch, Patrick Sisco, Curtis Daniels, Troy Rogers, Shawn Blackburn, Brian Foster, James Lovins and Justin Thompson.
