Mrs.Odom, 55, died Sunday.
 
Memorial service and interment will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Wilson County Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 3-4 p.m. with public visitation from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Reba Simms

The family of Ms. Simms will receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon (at Stone Mansion, 416 Rome Pike) on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the service. The funeral service is Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Reba Simms passed away on Nov. 26, 2012 at age 84.

Survivors include her children, Peggy (Bobby) Linder, Gail (Ray) Fuqua, Cynthia “Darlene” (Monty) Holloway, Robert Joe (Debra) Simms, Ronald (Patsy) Simms, Terry Simms; sister, Edith Wooden; and 15 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Simms; parents, Lonnie and Helen Walls Davenport; siblings, Earl Davenport, Aubrey Davenport, Ruth Davenport; and grandsons, Joseph Robert Simms and Ryan Simms. 

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Winfree, Timmy Martin, Shane Ervin, Bobby Dale Linder, Stacey Martin, Michael Martin, and Alex Garcia. Honorary pallbearer, Donnie Seagraves.

Ernest Virgil “Jack” Skinner Jr.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. The funeral service will be private.

Mr. Skinner, 67, died on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at the Savannah, Ga. home of his son and daughter-in-law. The son of the late Ernest Virgil “Buster” Skinner Sr. and Helen McEachin, Jack was born in Port St. Joe, Fla. but moved as a young child to Savannah, where he would graduate from Jenkins High School before enlisting in the U.S. Army for four years. After then graduating from Armstrong State College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Jack worked at American Cyanamid in Savannah and then the Ogden Corp. in Tennessee.

Throughout his life he enjoyed nature, baseball, golf, reading, writing poetry and short fiction, playing guitar, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who called him Rocco.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Moore Skinner of Savannah; daughter Rebecca Faucette and her husband Pembroke of Savannah; daughter Rachel Hickey of Savannah; son Ernest Virgil “Chip” Skinner III of Savannah; son Patrick Skinner and his wife Theresa of Savannah; his sisters Phyllis Branch of Savannah and Nancy Ringier of Orlando, Fla.; his brother Richard Skinner of Washington D.C; and his grandchildren Jack Faucette, Melanie Faucette, Connor Hickey, and Mitchell Hickey.

William E. Smoot Jr.

Mr. Smoot, 67, of Nashville, died Sunday.

Services will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel. Interment with military honors will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at Bond Memorial Chapel.
