Mark Alan Heisler
Services for Mr. Heisler, conducted by Pastor Gary Miller and Pastor Mike Haury, will be Thursday, Oct. 18 at 1 p.m. at the Crossroads Fellowship Church at 7860 Linwood Road in Lebanon. Interment will be in Jones Hill Cemetery in Watertown. Visitation will be at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon at Stone Mansion, 416 Stone Mansion on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Visitation at the church is Thursday from noon until the service.
Mr. Heisler, 58, of Watertown, passed away Oct. 11, 2012. Mark loved his family and church. He worked for R.R. Donnelly in Fort Wayne, Ind. He enjoyed walking outdoors in God’s creation, fishing, and four-wheeling. His deep faith, delightful sense of humor and great generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. Love forever until we are reunited in our Father’s kingdom.
He was preceded in death by parents, Carl and Virginia Heisler.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Brenda Heisler; children, Brian Heisler and Heather Heisler Dicken; sister, Karen Groninger; and grandchildren, Hayden, Garrett, Carter and Max Dicken.
Pallbearers are Brian Heisler, Rick and Glenn Haury, Jerry Hemmelgarn, Jerry Eitniear, Terry Andrews, John Hale and Ron Forczek. Honorary Pallbearers are Ed “Tugboat” Miller and Neil Irish. In lieu of flowers, make memorial donations to Crossroads Fellowship Church.
Clyde Donald Van Pietersom
Clyde Donald Van Pietersom, age 87, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Clara Van Pietersom; sister, Joyce Teague; and son-in-law, Robert Harris.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jean Van Pietersom; daughters, Sally (Bill) Cotten, Margie Harris, Betsy Walker (Richard Knoble); brother, Jack (Jan) Van Pietersom; grandchildren, Brent (Stephanie) Puryear, Shelly Puryear (Aaron) Moore, Joe Puryear, Abby Tisdale, Jenny Cotten (Nolan) McCue, Luke (Kristin) Puryear, Crystal Cotten (Michael) Randolph, Easton Stacy; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Van Pietersom was a retired co-founder and president of Commercial Engraving in Nashville. He was in the Air Force and a member of Hickory Ridge Church of Christ.
Visitation was Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation from noon until the service. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to thank caregivers, Melany Cason and Annette Johnson and Odyssey Hospice.
