UPDATE: I-40 cleared of three-vehicle wreck

At 10:05 a.m., Mt. Juliet police reported the wreck has been cleared and all lanes of Interstate-40 are moving as normal.

A three-vehicle crash in the westbound lane of Interstate 40 has traffic backed up as crews try to clear the scene.

Mt. Juliet police said the wreck happened at about 8:20 a.m. at the 224 mile marker with a minor injury.

According to Tennessee Department of Transportation officials, the wreck is affecting the right lanes and is expected to be cleared at 10:30 a.m. Eastbound traffic is no affected.
