Van Atta, Bell earn TMAC honors

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference released its 2012-13 All-Conference selections today and the Trevecca women's basketball team was well represented.

Along with five Trojan players being selected, Gary Van Atta was named the Coach of the Year after guiding Trevecca to a 19-7 regular season record, a G-MAC regular season title and No. 1 overall seed in the inaugural G-MAC Women's Basketball Championships.

Van Atta's fellow Mt. Juliet High alum, sophomore Britt Bell was named to the second team.  She ranked in the top 15 in several categories including third in steals (2.3 per game), 10th in rebounding (5.7) and eighth in free throw percentage (72.4%).
