Former Central star Clark named NFCA National DIII Softball Player of the Week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - With the championship game on the line in the gold bracket of the NFCA Division III Leadoff Classic, Trine freshman left-fielder Kaitlyn Clark  smacked a game-winning hit to cap off a four-run, bottom of the seventh inning rally for a 5-4 victory against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

For that success in the NFCA Division III Leadoff Classic and in previous games during the week of March 4-10, the former Wilson Central High standout has been named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III Player of the Week. She is the first Trine softball player to ever receive the honor.
