LHS tailgate party Friday

Lebanon fans are invited to come early Friday for a tailgate party sponsored jointly by the LHS bowling and baseball teams. The food and fun will run from 5-6:30 p.m. Cost is $5 per person and includes a meal, dessert and drink. Advance tickets are available from all members of the Blue Devil bowling and baseball teams. Kickoff for the game against Station Camp is 7 p.m. at Clifton Tribble Field/Danny Watkins Stadium.

MJHS softball camp Oct. 2-4

Mt. Juliet High softball coach Brad Rowlett will hold a camp for grades K-8 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 2-4 at the Lady Bears' field. Cost is $50. Players should wear shorts, t-shirts and cleats and bring water and softball equipment. For more information, call Rowlett at 758-5606, ext. 3675.

Hunters Point Two-Man Four-Way Oct. 6-7

Hunters Point Golf Course's Two-Man Four-Way tournament will be held Oct. 6-7. Entry fee is $200 per team, which includes a practice round [carts not included]. For more information or to register, call 444-7521.

MJ Tennis tournament Oct. 15

The Mt. Juliet Tennis Association will host its annual tournament/fundraiser Oct. 15 at Charlie Daniels Park. Space is available for only 48 players. Check-in time will be from 8:30-9 a.m. with breakfast being served. Warmups will be from 9-9:15 with matches running from 9:30-noon. A luncheon and awards ceremony will follow. A $30 entry fee includes play time, balls, player gifts, snacks, breakfast and lunch. There will also be a silent auction throughout the day.
