WC's Valkyrie named 9-AAA Coach of Year

Four Wilson Central players and their coach were rewarded for the Wildcats' best season ever with All-District 9-AAA honors.
Jonathan Hansen, Musa Kamara, Chase Matheson and Emilio Rodriguez were named to the All-District team from the Wildcats while Central's Brian Valkyrie was voted co-Coach of the Year with Gallatin's Greg Harper.
Central, which lost the district championship match to Hendersonville 4-0, is in the Region 5-AAA tournament for the first time. The Wildcats will travel to Clarksville today.
Mt. Juliet placed Ryan Baker on the All-District team.
