Wilson County Marines heading home

Wilson County Marine reservists deployed to Iraq with the Third Battalion, 24th Marines, India Company, are on their way home, according to a spokesperson with India Company.
"There is no date set for their return yet," Sgt. W. Bennett said. "We're still waiting. We'll know in the next few days."
On Wednesday, the Department of Defense released numbers of reserve units on active duty showing the Army and Marine Corps with an increase and a decrease for Navy and Air Force reservists on active duty.
As of Sept. 29, there are 141,961 Army National Guard and Army Reservists on active duty. The Marine Corps Reserve has 11,581 reservists on active duty. Naval reserve units account for 3,938 on active duty.
Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve have deployed 11,581 reservists. Coast Guard reservists number 1,515 on active duty.
The total number of National Guard and reserve personnel now on active duty is 170,066, including both units and individual augmentees, according to the Department of Defense.
