Brooks House held its annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser Thursday evening at College Hills Church of Christ.

The spaghetti dinner is the only fundraiser Brooks House holds each year, and the event gives the women and children’s shelter staff and volunteers a chance to say thanks to all of the supporters, as well as meet past and present women who have stayed at Brooks House.

“The Brooks House is a good way to help women falling through the cracks,” Director Liz Reese said.

Brooks House is a homeless shelter available to women and children in Lebanon to provide them with a safe environment. The shelter can house up to 25 women and children at a time. It’s always in need of volunteers to lend a helping hand.

Brooks House offers education and employment services, housing and support that can make a difference in women’s lives.

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer may request an application at [email protected] To reach Brooks House, call 615-444-8882.
