The band will perform at 1:30 p.m. at the Granville Veterans Park. The band performs popular music and instrumental music. It’s music performances range from jazz to soul to contemporary pop with a distinct focus on the instrumental tradition and inspirations range from Mike Davis to more modern artists such as Postmodern Jukebox. The band will also be part of a veterans’ appreciation service at 3 p.m. to honor World War II veterans.
Jazz on the Cumberland will also feature Smith County Jazz Band at 11 a.m., Jackson County High School Jazz Band at 11:30 a.m., the Big Band Sound at noon and the Blues Brokers at 3:15 p.m.
Granville’s weekly bluegrass dinner show will serve dinner at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. with the show to begin at 6 p.m. and feature John Tomlin & Co. Radio taping will begin at 7 p.m. For reservations, call 931-653-4151.
The Fall Celebration will also feature an entertainment stage, which will feature the Evermean Evergreens Cloggers at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., Freedom Belles World War II USO music at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Feelin Groovy 1960s music at 12:15 p.m. and 3 p.m., and a World II maneuvers re-enactment “Patton’s Ride Through Tennessee” will be performed at 11:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.
