The curtain will rise next month on a tradition in Southern gospel music in Lebanon.

The 43rd annual Gospel Music Fest will be Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre in Lebanon.

“This promises to be a night you will long remember at the beautiful Capitol Theatre,” said Fred VanHook, organizer of the event who will also perform.

It will feature the Masters Four, Donnie Uselton, Mercy Road Quartet, Fred VanHook and the Harmoneers and special guest Elaine Wilburn.

Tickets are $12 in advance and will be $15 at the door. Advance tickets are on sale at both CedarStone Bank locations in Lebanon and Mt. Juliet and at Century 21 in Lebanon.

“Join us for a great night of gospel music,” VanHook said. “You’ll be glad you did.”
