Fire trucks, ambulances and police vehicles filled the Music City Star train station in Lebanon on Thursday as local emergency response agencies joined forces for a mock disaster drill.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, Lebanon Fire Department, Lebanon Police Department and Wilson County Emergency Management Agency teamed for the drill, which also included volunteers from Lebanon High School.

Transit Solutions Group and the Nashville Eastern Railroad coordinated the training, which was an effort to refresh safety training and increase the preparedness in the event of a real train emergency.

The exercise tested various emergency support functions and challenged the Music City Star and first responders with the task of moving a large number of people while working an incident with a large number of people injured.
