A Mt. Juliet man was found sitting in the middle of Needmore Road with blood on his forehead after crashing his car into a ditch.

A Wilson County sheriff’s deputy was in the area and responded after a caller reported a man “rolling around in the middle of the road.”

Upon arriving, he found a man sitting in the road around the 900 block of Needmore Road. The man smelled like alcohol and had slurred speech and red watery eyes. He also had blood on his forehead.

The caller also told the deputy there was also a wrecked vehicle, and the registration came back to the man in the road.

The man was identified as Warren Thomas Lincoln, 59, of Mt. Juliet, and taken to a hospital to be treated.

Linclon was charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and failure to report an accident.
