Jeff and Angela Jackson recently closed on a house at 310 Cedar St., which was previously the Lebanon Veterans Home.

The couple plans to work with Julie Hadlock, director of the Next Step Resource Center, to provide a home for veterans. Angela Jackson said many services will be offered to the resident veterans, including three meals a day, transportation, life skills classes, job placement assistance and health wellness courses.

The house is scheduled for renovations before opening to residents.
