Elam ‘Duke’ Ray

A memorial service for Mr. Ray will be held Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 4 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation from 2 p.m. until the service. Minister Dale Hauskin will officiate.  

Mr. Ray, age 82, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cordell Hull and Electa Pearl Ray; son, Terry Dillard Ray; brother, Will Ray; sisters, Jo Greenfiel and Peggy Swack.  

Mr. Ray is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha Dillard Ray; sons, Ted (Laura)

Ray, Jeff (Kendra) Ray; daughter, Susan (Darrell) Holt; sister, Judi Ray; grandchildren, Matthew "Duke" Ray, Amy (Dax) Thompson, Josh Ray, Lyndsey (Nathan) Harris, Lillian (Sloan) Dokken, Landon Ray, Jenn Kelley, Hunter Kelley; great-grandchildren, Iris and Isla Thompson, McKinley and Simon Ray, Emmaline Harris; and several nieces; and nephews.

Mr. Ray was a Korean War Army Veteran, the owner of Duke Ray Motors for 40 years, and a devoted Jehovah's Witness.
