Redmond hat trick powers Lady Devils to road win

SOUTH CARTHAGE — Danielle Redmond scored a first-half hat trick Monday night to lift Lebanon to a 7-1 win over Smith County.

Isabella Simmons scored just over seven minutes into the game before Redmond went on a rampage to close the first half with Lebanon up 4-0 at the break.

Olivia Powers, Taylor Williams and Mallory Lohner scored in the second half for the Lady Devils while Mallory Dillon countered for Smith County.

Abby Bode had two assists and Maggie Sanders, Allison Burruss, Molly Wilkerson, Ashley Grimes and Peyton Ballou one each.

Molly McElhiney was in goal during the first half and Emma Mutz in the second for the Lady Devils.

Lebanon is scheduled to travel to District 9-AAA rival Smyrna on Tuesday night. The Lady Devils will next play at home next Tuesday as Lady Devil seniors and their parents are honored at 6 p.m.
