Cumberland women’s soccer moved back into the NAIA coaches’ top 25 poll on Tuesday, coming in at No. 25, as released by the national office.

The Phoenix won both of its matches last week, including a 4-0 victory to open Mid-South Conference play over the University of the Cumberlands and a 2-0 win versus then ninth-ranked University of Mobile, vaulting the club back into the Top 25.

Cumberland is 5-1-1 over its last seven matches since an 0-2-0 start to the season, with the loss to Georgia Gwinnett, currently ranked 24th nationally, and a 3-3 draw against Indiana Wesleyan, who is just outside the Top 25.

The Phoenix will play at Campbellsville University on Tuesday night and travel to 12th-ranked Lindsey Wilson on Friday.
