Music City Star hits cow, causes delays

The Music City Star train hit a cow en route from Lebanon to the Martha station near State Route 109, which cancelled the scheduled 4:20 p.m. train, according to a post by Regional Transit Alliance spokesperson Amanda Clelland to the Friends of the Music City Star group on Facebook, posted about 4:10 p.m.

Clelland said passengers who ride the 4:20 p.m. destined for Donelson or Hermitage will be placed on the No. 6 Lebanon Pike bus and dropped off at their respective train stations.

Passengers destined for Wilson County will have to wait for the 5:05 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. trains. No one was reported injured.
